Boots Luxe Icons gwp when spending £50 on premium beauty. Not bad actually for a low-ish spend.

Really like the Glow Recipe toner too, but I read somewhere that it's meant to be similar to the Ren AHA Glow tonic and they seem so different to me. Maybe I'm using the Ren one wrong!

They are definitely different! To me, at least.

REN Daily Glow Toner is AHA only - could be too much/too harsh for everyday use for some skin types, whether Glow Recipe Toner is PHA + BHA - more suitable for every day use as PHA is more gentle/less sensitising. I use the GR one every morning :)

The REN toner alonside the Ordinary Glycolic Acid toner are more the "exfoliating treatments" in my routine, I only use one or the other when I feel my skin is feeling rough/congested or I need to "erase" my facial tan to start again, and during night routine only.

I bought this second Regimes box we as soon as it went on pre-order, and Tiktok shop popped up with a "£9 off any £30 order" coupon, so was £34.98 all in including delivery. Worth trying putting the box in your basket to see if it triggers any coupons?

I’m assuming this is because Sephora has dropped Huda because of a controversial instagram post by the founder?
I think she made antisemitism remarks, so some people might want to consider that before possibly purchasing the brand.

The Huda founder did indeed make antisemitic remarks that went well beyond support for Palestine or criticism of Zionism. I believe the video she posted has since been deleted, but in it she accused “Israelis” of being behind both world wars (she clearly meant Jews, Israel only came into existence in 1948) and also of being behind the 9/11 World Trade Centre attacks. This is pretty much the classic antisemitic trope that evil Jews secretly control the world…

Tatcha is holding a Fukubiki event very soon where they give away prizes with orders. The US version was a few weeks ago with some amazing stuff (I'm expecting ours to be a little less spectacular).

I just got early access to this. As I suspected it's meh compared to the US version. No full size or mega trunk prizes.

It's 2 x free minis with £100 spend and 4 x free minis with £200 spend. There's a lot of choice of minis, so nice if you were buying anyway, but I'll wait until the January goody bag event which is better IMO.

Does anyone have any idea when look cult beauty or look fantastic are likely to have a gwp? Saved a load of credit for both in anticipation of the advents but don't like either so now I have to spend that credit asap 🤣

CB certainly go big for the second half of October, and cyber november edits and gwp if it doesn’t expire before then?

As all their calendars are going on sale next week probably not for a while because they'll want people to buy those. Who knows though?

I think as we get to mid or late September, the autumn and winter/holiday themed edits will start appearing. I bought a really good Summer Fridays CB edit in about October last year. It was probably the best one I've bought.

Last year there was a nice edit called treasure box. Was that LF? Does anyone remember when they released it? I thought it was around the same time as the calendar, because I think they did a promo price for buying the two.
