Bikini waxing - out of touch

I haven’t had a bikini wax since I gave birth to my eldest daughter (now 15). I can’t remember what I had done.
I pretty much want everything off apart from a landing strip/small triangle- what do I even ask
for? Sorry, silly question I know.
Does a full bikini wax tend to include underneath too? Again- sorry!!

As this is the first time in for ages, l suggest a couple of paracetamol first (I don’t bother, but my body is used to it) and avoid being done just before your period and don’t have sex with someone the same day.

I have a bikini wax once in a blue moon, when I have a hot holiday booked. I only ever want enough taken off that I can wear my bikini without any fly away hairs! They always seem a bit surprised but do as I ask.

Considered old fashioned by whom? I think the King probably thinks it's pretty newfangled, whereas I think it's fine to have your pubes however you want them. I mean, if you get it out in Sainsburys, you'll probably get barred, but that's not driven by fashionistas.

Agree with PP - describe to them exactly what you want, eliminate the risk of confusion. And it'll grow back - it's not forever, you can always go for something different next time...

If you can go to an intimate wax specialist rather than a generic beauty salon they tend to be superior as it's what they do all day long. My lady does it in 15mins super fast, efficient and good chat she's an expert at making you feel comfortable. If there's not one in your area make sure who you go to use hot wax fix it's a Brazilian rather than strip wax it's a lot less painful and much more gentle to the skin

Go somewhere that uses lycon wax and are bikini wax specialists, it makes so much difference. I basically had a full body wax yesterday in 25 minutes almost pain free

I’ve always gone for a very minimal landing strip plus tiny triangle (and if I say Brazilian there’s never been any confusion). At a recent appointment I asked the beauty therapist what’s currently in fashion ‘down there’ and apparently anything goes these days!

I am actually having this done in Spain, although returning to the UK soon. I am particularly anxious about things getting lost in translation although I would rather more rather than less was taken.

ive Been to several in Spain but several years ago and they always used hot wax rather than strip. If you are in a big city there will be an intimate waxing salon

Never had a wax myself as ive always just shaved but I'd mostly likely go for the Brazilian landing strip too op. i hate being completely bald down there. whatever you're most comfortable with.

I hate to be that person but I’m going to piggyback on your thread to save me making my own. What do I ask for if I want my bum waxed? Normally I shave my fanjo every few days but I’ve never been brave enough to go near my bum with a razor. The other day I noticed it’s definitely been neglected (i have pcos so I get hairy everywhere). So I thought I may as well not shave this week and go and get everything waxed
