Can anyone remember the name of this hairspray?

In a dark pink tin, with what I’m sure was green branding, that had the loveliest scent. My Gran used to use it in the late 90s and early 2000s but I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me! Nothing coming up on Google looks right either.

I saw what I thought might have been it in Home Bargains this morning but it just smelled like bog standard hairspray, so it’s not Bristows.

Was it perhaps Lee Stafford, which smells a bit like Mugler angel?

Is that what the original Lee Stafford’s smelt like? I miss it.

I know exactly what you’re talking about. I got a perm when I was 14, so around 1999/2000. I used mousse in a pink can and it was the loveliest smell. The hairspray version had the same scent. I recently started using hairspray again (after a 25 year hiatus) and went looking for it in the shops. I’ve tried every brand out there and they all smell awful. Chemically. Nasty. I can’t remember the name but you didn’t imagine it. It was available in the cheaper sort of shops and bargain shops of the time.

Yes! It definitely wasn’t expensive. My Granny would’ve bought it from somewhere like Semichem or Savers.

I loved the Charles Worthingron hairspray that came in a massive tin. Smell was amazing.

The dream hair in purple bottles shampoo! Why did they stop producing it. I bought a bottle of Toni and guy shampoo recently wanting that nostalgic smell and it didn’t smell of anything. Loved the 90’s fragrances. Probably full of chemicals but douse me in them if I’m going to smell amazing

What about the garnier fructis hairspray. They did it in pink with the bright green mousse then I think they switched to all green bottles. Unsure if it’s still produced

Lee Stafford?

Nova used to be a massive tin. You’d get a green one and red or pink one. Cheap as chips

Aqua Net or Salon Selectives?

Blast from the past! I’m now singing the jingle “..Salon
Selectives” does anyone else remember it?

"When you've just for out of the shower...Salon Selctives!" My best friend at the time, and I used to sing it as kids and think it was hilarious!

Disclaimer; we may have changed the words with it being mid 90s and us being 10/11! 😂
