Can anyone remember the name of this hairspray?

In a dark pink tin, with what I’m sure was green branding, that had the loveliest scent. My Gran used to use it in the late 90s and early 2000s but I can’t remember the name of it for the life of me! Nothing coming up on Google looks right either.

I saw what I thought might have been it in Home Bargains this morning but it just smelled like bog standard hairspray, so it’s not Bristows.

Silvikrin maybe? That was my granny's goto in the 90s. I remember the can being green though.

Bristows is pink, and the extra firm hold would have green writing. sorry just saw you said not Bristows- I’ll keep thinking

No it’s none of them. I’m pretty sure it’s one you can’t get anymore or has been repackaged. I wish I could remember it’s driving me bonkers!

ETA it wasn’t old fashioned at the time. The packaging and scent were lovely and modern. I think there was also a mousse.

I’m thinking it was more 2000s than late 90s and that either the brand or product line was quite fleeting. I’ll keep googling.

There was a hairspray called White Rain (I think). Not as well known in the UK as Harmoney, Elnett and Silvikrin. Could it be that? No idea what it smelt like!

Bristows doesn't smell like it used to in 1985.

I found some in Home Bargains and came home expecting to spray it around and be transported back to before I single handedly destroyed the ozone layer keeping my perm in place but instead was left drenched in disappointment. Not the same.

I used to get a brand called Moonlight is the late 80s, it was a spray in conditioner/hairspray, in a dark pink/purple can. Got it from our local salon and it smelt divine.

Hmmm I think I know what you mean. You’ve triggered a memory. It was modern at the time. Seem to remember the spray came out in a very smooth wide kind of mist rather than little spurt. Maybe metallic coloured can.
