@OvaHere got LF August box - why can’t they do that regularly??

I’ve had the same issue with LookFantastic - when I contacted them about it (as I thought I was putting it in the wrong place!) they replied saying it’s not valid on excluded items. They sent me a link for the excluded items and it’s over 10,000 items long 🙈🙈🙈

I get that they realised it was too generous a scheme, but it's wild what a 180 it's taken. If they'd reduced it to £2.50 credit instead of £5 - of whatever their value point is - then I'd still be in.

Can I ask how long it took to get the discount codes on recycleme…I’ve sent 2 lots of parcels (one over 2 weeks ago) and still nothing.

I had mine pretty much straight away I think? After I selected which reward I wanted, you get the code from the recycle me app now - go to the rewards tab and then click into the reward and you’ll see the discount code.

@ChicDenimCat thank you. When I click on the reward it says £5 off a £25 spend but there’s no code! I don’t know if I’m being an idiot but I really can’t see a code 😬

@ChicDenimCat Lol have solved the issue by deleting the app & reloading it. The codes have now appeared. Mystery solved.

The votary sensitive resurfacing peel is really good. I was sceptical of all the acids in the Liberty AC last year as I believe acids should be used sparingly and damage your skin, but that one has been amazing for every couple of weeks. Very gentle but does make a difference without tingling.

@tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz TCB is good on Shiseido. I bought their AC last year with a really good TCB deal plus gwp (which I sold on Vinted to further recoup some costs). I still haven't unboxed the AC. I must do that this year. 😳

Hi, I'm finally lurking on Style and Beauty after realising that at fast approaching 50 I need to move on from the infertility boards! Have very limited budget but in dire need of some "glow" (both related to too long on infertility boards!) but thanks to this thread I decided to give the Look Fantastic beauty box a go, and I'm impressed, far superior to Glossybox. If you’re on a budget and your skin doesn’t have a specific issue like acne or rosacea, you can’t go wrong with a Garnier sheet mask once a week, Nip&Fab resurfacing pads every couple of days, a good SPF everyday the Soap&Glory one is good as is the Nip&Fab, and a hyaluronic serum under your moisturiser everyday. I think the boxes and edits are good for trying something new or something special with a nice smell.

I think the Boots No7 skin edits are excellent too. There was some discussion here that they’ve started Korean skincare dupes too under No7 Good Intent branding. Boots do half price on their No7 advent calendar at Christmas too. Despite how much time I spend on here and enjoy discussing it, nearly everything I use is from Boots!
