Hi @OvaHere it’s very nice to ‘virtually’ see you too! I am indeed gearing up for advent calendar season. I am hoping that the SpaceNK calendar is as good as last year’s, as I am still annoyed that I missed out on it!

This is the first time for a couple of years that I haven’t got a bargain a/c already put away from the January sales or similar, so I am definitely in the market for a good one for 2025!

I have just joined this thread and have already succumbed to temptation in the form of the SpaceNK GWP. It was a pretty good gift, but I am a bit annoyed with what I actually bought to qualify. I got the Shiseido suncare kit, (which is fine), but am regretting buying the mini Tatcha moisturiser duo, because I ordered just before reading feedback that it pills. Plus, they are really small, (but that’s my fault 🙈)

OvaHere · 11/07/2025 17:19

@IlovePond I'm looking forward to the SpaceNK reveal too. I've still got the Shiseido AC from last year I didn't open.

The Tacha cream might be fine. It doesn't seem to pill for everyone and it is a very nice cream even so.

IlovePond · 11/07/2025 17:24

I am still looking forward to trying the Tatcha @OvaHere , so 🤞

I am still working my way through the teeny tiny items in my Shiseido a/c, (and successfully sold on the ‘David Bowie’ electric blue eye pencil). I am already using, and love, love the little red lipstick from that a/c and the Ginza perfume.

I have put a couple of things in my basket from the SpaceNK sale, but I must resist!

OvaHere · 11/07/2025 17:32

@IlovePond I'm still debating whether to just open it all up and decide what to keep or keep it for xmas. I do know I have no use for the electric blue eye pencil though. 😂

I’ll be honest @OvaHere - I was pleasantly surprised when it found a buyer 😹

BlueLimes · 11/07/2025 19:47

The Tatcha doesn’t pill on me. I think it’s my favourite brand at the moment - hoping they do an offer soon 🤞

IlovePond · 11/07/2025 22:51

Thanks for the info @BlueLimes - I will give it a spin soon!

MrsBnow12 · 12/07/2025 06:53

Another who loves Tatcha and doesn’t pill for me, I generally use it as my night cream.
For those that have been hoping for a scent edit from Liberty it looks like one is coming on Tuesday for Beauty Drop members who will have 24hr early access

Thanks @MrsBnow12

That Liberty drop looks lovely. I’ve never signed up for the BD but every year I think I should!

MrsBnow12 · 12/07/2025 10:53

@IlovePond I am one who really likes the Beauty Drop, I enjoy getting the quarterly boxes, I know they were free before and now essentially cost £15 but compared to Glossybox/Lookfantastic they are much better in my eyes for a similar price point.
I also feel when buying something with my BD credit it’s a treat as doesn’t cost me anything in girl maths terms as I don’t notice the £25 monthly charge.
I know everyone is different but it works for me.

TragicMuse · 12/07/2025 11:51

That’s pretty much what I feel too @MrsBnow12

@OvaHere thanks for the heads up about the Hourglass Dragon brush on Soace NK. I ordered last night whist a little tipsy, forgot, and then had a lovely surprise this morning when the dispatch email came through 😁. I’m such a lightweight - I only had one glass of wine!

Mine arrived this morning. It's lovely but glad I didn't pay full price. The size of it is much better for the palette than the one I was using though.

You can buy these as a one off box for £38 + 3.99 shipping or you can sign up to a monthly subscription for £35 and free UK shipping.

I've been wondering for a while if there was going to be a K beauty sub box to the UK as there's a few in the US.

Price wise it's a bit more commitment than usual sub boxes but one to keep an eye on.

July box contains

@OvaHere Skincupid also does a monthly K- Beauty subscription box. I think it’s £35 plus postage. I’ve never signed up for it as have so much skincare to get through, but the products have looked pretty good whenever I’ve had a look.

MentyB · 13/07/2025 18:44

I bought the Hair Hydration edit. I don't really need it but it has decent sizes and I had £15 of LF vouchers that have been sat there a while making it just over £20.
I cancelled my box subscription about a week ago so that will be running out soon, may as well make the most of the discount whilst I still have it.

Same @OvaHere box sub runs out in sept and snapped up the volume and skin renewal as good deal with credit…this isn’t doing my backlog of products much good 😂 my hair does need help though!

OP posts:
OvaHere · 14/07/2025 14:21

@Arrearing50 I was umming and ahhing between the one I got and the skin renewal but in the end decided I already have more than enough skincare similar to what is in it. At least with hair products I go through them a bit quicker and the rest of the family will use stuff too.

Hi,

In case anyone is interested in this:

https://www.hearstmagazines.co.uk/good-housekeeping-beauty-box-mse?

£30 for the lot, plus 12 months non-renewing, (according to MSE), digital subscription to Good Housekeeping. You can also buy it as a gift for someone else, which might make it a good present.

In effect, you are signing up for 12 months of GH, with a free box.

If you already have a GH sub you can choose when to activate this one, (also according to MSE).

I like the AA oil and the PK elasticiser, but probably wouldn’t use the rest of it, so am passing on this one.

However, it’s a good deal if you like the products/like GH.

2200 available between now and Sunday, (or until stocks last). They’re available now as I just did a dummy order.
