I only spent £350 on my wedding dress!

we went prom dress shopping recently

and all the dresses we found were modest many with long sleeves, due to local demographic. It wasn’t at all what DD wanted

Is there a reason for the long sleeves. Would elbow length work? Or above the elbow?

My DD got her prom dress from Peppermayo - online store (dresses on average around d £70) - I did a search and can see that they do long sleeve dresses. She could wear a short sleeve one with a shrug/bolero over the top maybe?

Has she considered evening gloves? The sort that go up above your elbow? That can look really good, and would give her much more choice of dress.
