What can I do with my non-existent eyebrows that’s not micro blading?

I can’t afford expensive treatments but the amount I’ve spent on pencils/powders/serums/god knows what else I probably could have. Is there anything that actually works, lasts and looks natural without breaking the bank?

Just joining your thread to see the answers OP! I seriously need help in this area. I try to use brow pencil/mascara etc and it seems like my brows are still barely there so I keep going and then one second later I've created giant fake-looking slug eyebrows I need a wonder product!

You do know that thyroid issues can cause sparseness of eyebrows, yes?

Mine's been checked recently so not that, and I've always had faint eyebrows but thanks Hoydenish as I didn't know that.

When I consistantly use serum ( Revitabrow) it improves mine but it's an ongoing treatment .
I dye what hair is there , it gets on the skin too ( till it washes off there ) I think they look okay ( better than they usually are anyway )

I did consider having tattoo brows (brilliant tattoo artist near us ) but I read so many things , like they fade a funny colour .

Transfers! I love them. Have virtually no eyebrows due to fibromyalgia and menopause but I love the transfers. Cheap and effective. Last me a week with a little top up g

Iglow brow serum really does work. I have sparse brows and they grew back. You have to keep using it, and it's pricey, but a proper product.

I know some people rave about the eyebrow stamps you can buy on Amazon etc but others say they are awful. I must admit I am tempted to try as my pencilling on is never consistent!

How do you clean them off if you don’t like them?

I don’t think it’s a health thing, just the result of 80s/90s over plucking 🙄😩

@TinselAngelmicellar water works well. They take a little practice but clean skin, wet them thoroughly once in place, peel off backing. Just like a temporary tattoo. Game changer for me!

I’m intrigued by these transfers, surely they can’t look natural. I’d love to see a real photo not just the Amazon ones if anyone doesn’t mind sharing.

they ALL fade to grey/green eventually.

If you’re lucky enough not to have had yellow used in your ink you can pay to have them lasered off. If not - you’re stuck with them FOREVER!!

I tried pomades in the past, but for a year or so have been using this:

I use a little angled brush to paint the pencil on (it's really soft) and comb through using the mascara wand end of the brush (bought separately).

I only use the gel end of the wand when I'm doing a full face of makeup when going out on a weekend, as although I buy the light brown it's still quite dark (I'm fair ish). It's buildable, so versatile IMO. I usually end up wiping some off with a cotton bud as the liquid can be too much (I wipe excess off on a tissue).

But yeah, the soft pencil end is great for every day, and using the double-ended mini angled brush, it takes me about 60 seconds to do every morning.

Is this the same for the powder brow techniques?

Following for advice (and a miracle....)

Do not get any kind of semi permanent tattoo as they will find to either a greedy get or even worse a rusty orange.

I really like Benefit's Gimme Brow pencil. It takes a bit more effort than their Goof Proof pencil (which I use most days) but gives a much better look overall and does help make brows look a bit fuller.

I am currently trying minoxidil, but it’ll take months for any results. Search on TikTok, there are a lot of posts about it.

Oh that's worrying about microblading - I know lots of people who have it but I am a bit scared of anything permanent.

The best product I've found so far is Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows - it gives a natural look as the brush is so small but it doesnt last as long as they claim.

The ink tends to bleed out and you just end up with a grey smudgy look. The individual strokes disappear. These aren't my brows but this is generally the effect after a few years or so. I would never get mine tattooed, it'd rather just dye them.

Mine were non-existent and it was impossible to do anything decent manually every day as you couldn't see where they were supposed to be and they would end up wonky, so I did have powder brow tattoo done, it has faded a bit 5 years later but still a natural colour and I just paint hairstrokes on with felt tip eyebrow pen every morning covered by a little dark powder and I'm happy with them.

I had a long fringe cut into my hair. Works a treat!
