Recommend me a "Wow,what perfume are you wearing?" perfume!

Looking fur a strong smelling, signature type perfume.

Just finished my bottle of Portrait of a Lady.

I guess I'm looking for an "in your face" type perfume!

Mythqal - cheap, around £25. Everyone think its some kind of super expensive perfume, even my son's teacher asked me, she said she can smell me outside the class until midday.

Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, I get compliments every time I wear it. It's smoky, heady, vanilla. I adore it.

The only 2 perfumes that I'm complimented on regularly (and I have loads!) are Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and Glossier You!

Another 13. Le Labo. Never had so many compliments. Expensive but oh, so good.

Get yourself to Zara. I've got quite the perfume collection but keep going back to the Zara ones, they smell amazing and last all day.

Don't think you can beat Jazz Club for an evening fragrance though - perfection!

Beyond a shadow of a doubt the most compliments I've ever received for a perfume is Experimentum Crusis by Etat Libre D'Orange. From work colleagues, random people in cafes and shops, the rough and ready bloke who came to fit some flooring, all sorts. They all tend to say what's that gorgeous smell or that I smell amazing. And I have a huge collection of perfume....I get the odd compliment for Escentric Molecules Mandarin, or Maison Margiela's By the Fireplace, or Sana Jardin's Tiger By Her Side but the Experimentum comments happen on a far far more regularbasis (tip: look on Notino for great discounts!)

The last time I followed someone around sniffing them and eventually asked what perfume they were wearing it was Chloe.

I love perfume and have tried many of those listed above, but the most compliments I have received is when wearing cheap as chips White Diamonds by Elizabeth Taylor.

Jean Paul Gaultier 2 (unisex rectangle bottle) is really strong and my go to for an evening.

Clinique Aromatics! So many men have stopped me to ask what perfume I'm wearing as they want to get some got their wife.

Also 147 from The Essence Vault which is like La Vie Est Belle, I've had so many compliments

Smells insane, as do many of the others. Lasts all day, and the bottle is cool. You can get smaller ones for £30 or so and they last me a good few months!

Came on here to say original Miss Dior as well. In fact, any of the old school Dior scents, provided you like the high note of Lily of the Valley and don’t look for a base of musk.
personally, I love perfumes, so enjoy your hunt for the perfect scent.
May be worth visiting the Chanel counter in a big department stores and discussing the scents named after different locations in Mme Chanel’s life. The smaller stores don’t stock them

Following with interest as despite of owning a lot of perfume, I am not followed around to be asked. Although I wear them just to please myself, not others

Anything by Ellie Saab. I notice it and am always noticed wearing it.
