depends how old you are

ElizabethBeresfordSW19 · 08/05/2008 22:33

Not at all, they are gorgeous. They would give you a bit of height and they look like they'd be easy to walk in too. The perfect sandal....

harpomarx · 08/05/2008 22:33

bit frumpy in tan, could be good in yellow.

depends on the way you wear them ggirl - I saw some of these sandals recently and wondered the same as you!

brimfull · 08/05/2008 22:33

I am 87

ahundredtimes · 08/05/2008 22:33

Oh no I don't think they are.

But I don't know anything. I am having summer clothes shopping fear.

brimfull · 08/05/2008 22:34

yellow?? really

OP posts:
harpomarx · 08/05/2008 22:35

i like yellow

is that wrong?

ahundredtimes · 08/05/2008 22:35

Well I was looking at them in the yellow and liking too. Mostly like the 1970s wallpaper insole though.

brimfull · 08/05/2008 22:35

me too 100

I want crops but they are all too long for my stumps.
I look like an extra from Oliver twist in them

OP posts:
brimfull · 08/05/2008 22:36

yellow is very daring for me

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 08/05/2008 22:36

Oh yes. Me too.

We need uplift. Therefore we HAVE to start with the shoes.

[considers yellow sandals for the first time ever]

We'd need to have REALLY brown feet for yellow sandals though wouldn't we?

Perhaps to complete that urchin look?

harpomarx · 08/05/2008 22:37

great minds, 100x

you can sell me anything if it's got a bit of a retro pattern on it somewhere!

brimfull · 08/05/2008 22:37

yellow goes with

brown
blue
green
red

hmmm maybe

OP posts:
OverMyDeadBody · 08/05/2008 22:38

lol at brown feet.

I think yellow could work actually.

harpomarx · 08/05/2008 22:38

yes, brown feet a must for yellow and green shoes I reckon. Doesn't take long though, couple of days in this weather and they will be requisite shade

bran · 08/05/2008 22:38

I like it in dark brown. I'm not keen on yellow, it looks as though it started out as a different colour and went yellow with age.

LynetteScavo · 08/05/2008 22:39

Fugly.

But if you like them, take no notice of me.

I could look horrendous, for all you know!

brimfull · 08/05/2008 22:39

will they look dated next summer though

at that price I will want to wear them next yr as well

or do I really care about that actually?

OP posts:
brimfull · 08/05/2008 22:41

lynette-I immediately looked on your profile to see how glam you were, took me a while to notice that you're a desperate housewife lol

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 08/05/2008 22:42

Who knows.

They could be a bit Scholl you know, when you can't see the insole.

Cod has given me terrifying instructions. I can buy a wedge sandal but it MUST BE THE RIGHT HEIGHT, I have no idea what this means. No heels too small or too low.

[sigh]

I'm going to look tomorrow. It's scary isn't it?

stuffitall · 08/05/2008 22:43

sorry am with Lynette
converse look great with skirts get a pair of those

but like lynette, do ignore, if you like em you like em.

Fridayfeeling · 08/05/2008 22:43

I've had a few Fly sandals and shoes - they are great ! Def not frumpy !

brimfull · 08/05/2008 22:44

OP posts:
brimfull · 08/05/2008 22:44
