I like these sandals,they look comfy..but are they frumpy?

Where did you get these comfy yet quite high ones from? You know if we find the right sandals then those crop trousers CAN still be ours.

Think the sandals are lovely, like all the colours except camel.

They have lots of stuff like this in Jake shoes (Stockport and now Manc Arndale)....a shop I really wish I had never discovered!!! They sell Art trainers which I LOVE.

My friend found the perfect sandals in there (same brand as those ggirl I think) but sadly they were too tight across her foot.

Any shoe-a-holic in the NW should head to Jake - I'll be hanging out by the reduced rack.

I like them very much. I like the yellow.
converse- they never look good with anything when I wear them! They make my legs look like Don Estelle's.
I like my birkenstocks, many styles of. I'm a creature of habit.

Laundrylover-they do look a bit narrow for my spades,will definitely need to try on .

they are nice,but I'm 45 ,my 16 yr old dd wears them .
I think there needs ot be a difference in our styles much as I'd like to wear them

colour is much better than tan as someone said, tan does look a bit cautious

I'm only a dress size 10-12, but quite short of leg, I think that's my problem. They instantly make my legs look fat. And stumpy.

I would probably wear converse like things if I didn't have teenage dd wearing the same thing iykwim.

I think they would look fab with cropped jeans n stuff. And if they're all too long then get some scissors IMO no way frumpy.

tried them on today in dark brown that's all they had
they were ok ,bit dull looking on though
also the funny bit at the front rubbed ,I need ultra comfort for that price
so back to the drawing board

ggirl, that's where they were too tight on my friend - across the front strap - what a shame, bit of a design flaw eh? I'm trying to think which others they had in Jake...some nice Doc Martens who have just revamped their range I think....
