I hope no one minds me starting a new thread. I couldn't see one.

The kit seems okay. I think I'm just done with having excess "stuff" that i don't love to either use or rehome. I'd rather buy one item i love (le labo fragrances, I'm looking at you!) and give the rest a miss.

Ordered it! My partner said stop overthinking it and just enjoy a treat. It’s like I don’t think it’s the best deal unless if a gwp as well but I’d enjoy it. Also if the candles nice can treat myself to the full size!

The thing with PK being in everything, they did the same a couple of years back with Sunday Riley good genes.
But now that Good Genes hasn't been included in the kits for ages - not sure if it was in the advent calender this year - I miss it!
I'm confident that I won't miss the PK though.
Why do they do this, have one brand that just repeats over and over again?

I love Good Genes. I would like more of it.

I bought the kit, had some vouchers I wanted to spend. Will re sell anything I don't like the look of including the PK but there was enough in there to whet my appetite

The Fragrantica reviews are interesting, calling it an “aromatherapy scent” rather than “perfume”. A few mention Clarins Eau Dynamisante. I just wanted to let everyone know there is fragrance edit on the John Lewis app for £65. I can't see it yet on the website but the app says I have early access so it may be coming soon. I've bought it for £50 using another £15 off beauty voucher that I seem to get every month now.

Thanks @TreesinthePark - that kit is very tempting and I also have early access. Very jealous of your JL reward voucher- I always get £10 off jewellery which is absolutely useless for me. I’ve never bought jewellery from JL so no idea how they settled on that. I’m sitting on my hands at the moment in protest- but damn the kit looks good!

I only ever get £5 off lingerie. A few months ago I spent £50 on an everyday knicker refresh and ever since I just get that offer every other month

Not exactly the thread for it but you lot know your onions. Has anyone tried the Trinny make up? I keep seeing tempting looking make up and there’s 20% off this weekend. Although I am obviously on a no-buy year.

@Doubleraspberry there was a Trinny pot in one of the liberty kits last year - lip2cheek in a bright pinky coral (pia possibly?) It was very pigmented which would be great with a less neon colour. Texture was fine, I always use gel or cream blushes because I think they look nicer than powder on older/drier skins.
I didn't like the smell personally, too strong and reminded me of Estée Lauder lipsticks but I'm not keen on most scented makeup products.

I have the birthday fiver to spend before the end of the month but I had intended to save all my BD credit for the advent calendar!

I need to be strong! I've got a MASSIVE box of things to use up!!

I thought the last BD was a bit thin for the supposed treat it's meant to be. But I had items missing so I contacted customer service and they sent me a second box so I feel a bit better!

I am very over PK haircare. It makes my hair feel rough and greasy, but I LOVE Charlotte Mensah. She can stay!

Gorgeous bottle, and a light fresh scent, quite subtle...I like it a lot.

Ooh sounds lovely. What colour is the bag @BCSurvivor ? Is it more pink or red?

@BakeOffRewatch It's ever so slightly warm toned but more of the deepest red on a pastel spectrum than an in your face vibrant red, if that makes sense?
I've got a sewing business and this design - it's called Mitsi - was one of my favourites around a decade ago, so I get nostalgic vibes from it!

Just got the kit and I'm really pleased with it. The bag is lovely and in a traditional Liberty print. Really love the (untried) perfume and everything else is a staple apart from a small toner.

Mine arrived too and I like the perfume as well. Can't describe it (I'm crap at things like that), it's just very nice and not too heavy. Does remind me of the dark red Clarins scent that I used to wear in my 20s. Which seems reasonable given what pp said about her loving that scent
