I bought a second pair because I love them so much! i also have the plain blue ones - they're a great shape/length

FurForksSake · 02/07/2025 11:13

What’s the fit like for OB? I might keep an eye out for those if they go in the sale…

for me it’s leggings and a t-shirt, it’s our wedding anniversary today and I struggled to even stand long enough to shower let alone leave the house or do something nice. So I’m feeling pretty sorry for myself. I do have some beautiful flowers though.

I'd say it's generous. I'm generally a 10 on the high street, and these are quite loose fitting in the 10. My blue ones I could wear the 8, and I recently bought their red and pink checked skirt in an 8

Another meeting today in a very cold and air conditioned room so I have a jumper on.
Gypsy top garden centre sale 20 years ago £10.
Sleeveless jumper Potters of Buxton £25.50 in half price sale.
Navy trousers M&S had them for 15 years but too fat to get in them until now approx £20.
Clarkes navy loafers £65.
Not sure why I'm standing so awkwardly 😂

At home uniform, leggings and a t-shirt. Managed to stand just long enough to take a picture. Annoyingly the t-shirt has a hole as it’s a good shape.

More workwear.
Same bottoms as yesterday M&S trousers old ones £20
Clarkes loafers £65.
Blue long sleeved teashirt Amazon £12.
Sleeveless jacket Whistles £45 in the sale originally £119.
They look great with no teashirt underneath but not on a 63 year old.

Ridiculously long wide leg Zara jeans - used to wear stuff like this in the 90s! Very nostalgic. Think they were £35ish.
Blue and white check gingham shirt - no label - £3 from a charity shop

Delphigirl · 03/07/2025 18:09

Long black bias-cut, belted linen sleeveless dress from Uniqlo (incredibly high quality linen, looks like max Mara but cost £30 not £300)
electric blue Moroccan leather flat pointy-toed mules from the souk in Marrakech (about £30)

Comefromaway · 03/07/2025 20:20

Ooh, that dress sounds lovely.

FurForksSake · 03/07/2025 20:29

I’ve never bought Uniqlo, I feel in need to change this!

Comefromaway · 03/07/2025 22:58

I am wearing a dress for once, I don't normally wear dresses or patterns, I'm more of a classic look person but this dress made me feel nostalgic. My other dresses are plain uniqlo ones.
I'm in my 60s so I'm hoping it doesnt age me.
Dress Seasalt £65.95 sweet violet jersey dress size 12 as it comes up big.
Crochet cardigan Roman £35 I have one in navy and another in white.
I wore this for a work meeting. I swapped the glittery sandals gor some cream chunky sandals which was a better look.

Edited

That Seasalt dress is lovely
I have a similar one from M& Even the buttons are covered either material
i’m 60 I know you’re just down the road from me… Anything goes in Glastonbury😂

uncomfortablydumb60 · 04/07/2025 02:03

Garlicnorth · 04/07/2025 03:19

@unsurewhattodoaboutit, I think a thread has to be more than 50 minutes old to qualify as a zombie 😂 Skirt sounds nice.

I love uniqlo, they are a recent find for me. So inexpensive for what they are. A lot of the dresses are ageless and so flattering.

Britpopbaby · 04/07/2025 08:06

M&S palazzo jeans £45
Converse high tops £45
&Other Stories cotton knit with a shirt sleeve around £54
