* Please avoid dropping hints or spoilers about future contents if you have opened the calendar in advance. * (Edited at request of the OP by MNHQ)

It is one sleep away! We’ve all been very patient, since Liberty London revealed their advent calendar in June this year.

Reveals from 7am GMT each morning please. This is to harmonise discussion/shift work/different time zones.

I use a lot of REN products (currently stinking of their Moroccan rose post shower) so I’m happy with this.

LadyLapsang · 05/12/2024 07:48

Not a great fan of REN, but I will use it - at least it’s not the toner. Currently using the Liberty Liquid Eye Patch which I love.

Chickydoo · 05/12/2024 07:53

I love todays eye cream. I have used it before and as far as eye creams go it's pretty good. Happy so far

secretbumworms · 05/12/2024 07:56

I'm not a huge fan of REN or eye creams in general, so this will be one to gift, I think.

TheRealMummyPig · 05/12/2024 08:37

I like REN and really needed an eye cream for dark circles so I'm happy Smile

Waffles21 · 05/12/2024 08:42

I’ve not used any REN products but I’m just running out of my eye cream and have dark circles so hoping this is my Christmas miracle 😀

Netaporter · 05/12/2024 08:50

I normally use NIOD and Strivectin around my eyes which works for me but I’ll try this and see how it goes.

Isabelle70 · 05/12/2024 09:02

I am not really into eye cream I find they can make my eyes water. I don't have dark circles but will give this a go as a moisturiser.

jay55 · 05/12/2024 09:25

I permanently look like I have two black eyes so always appreciate a brightening eye cream, even though none of them make a difference.

Always live in hope.

Decent size again.

Buster27 · 05/12/2024 09:35

I'm not wild on eye creams as they don't seem to do anything (on me anyway), but I don't mind REN and happy to try it. It will spur me on to use my currently opened but not used for months eye cream anyway!

QueenofFox · 05/12/2024 11:01

This confused me! Now I know the ren one is supposed to be #5

Day 5!

REN Clean Skincare Brightening Dark Circle Eye Cream 15ml FULL SIZE
Value £49

I’ve just run down a Sunday Riley Autocorrect eye cream so I’m very happy with the timing of this one. The SR sells for £60 for 15ml, so this is more repurchasable. Though saying that Liberty has 20% off it at the moment which makes it £48 www.libertylondon.com/uk/Auto-Correct-Brightening-and-Depuffing-Eye-Contour-Cream-15ml-R426764006.html

I agree I think of Ren the same as Rituals, nice but not naice. I think their toner being everywhere for free and going unused didn’t help.

The description for this says it can be used as a hydrating eye mask as well. www.libertylondon.com/uk/features/beauty/liberty-beauty-advent-calendar-whats-inside.html

This will definitely get used up here.

Happy with today's - not the most exciting but DS suffers with terrible dark circles which he's really conscious of and was hoping I'd get some decent eye cream so will definitely get used! Hopefully it will be good 🤞

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 05/12/2024 16:43

It's ok the REN eye cream but nothing special however it will get used up.

Lemonademoney · 05/12/2024 18:11

Hmm an ok day, yesterday was ok too so am hoping for a luxe surprise in the next day or so 🤞

BakeOffRewatch · 05/12/2024 18:19

I thought the full size serum was pretty luxe! It’s a bigger size drawer tomorrow so my hopes are up

We are away for a long weekend from tomorrow I got my Mum to put days 7,8,9 in numbered envelopes for me so I can open them when I'm away - she was very impressed with the offerings so hopefully we have good things to look forward to!!!

SlightlyJaded · 05/12/2024 18:53

Serum definitely best so far for me

Order of my favourites to date:
Serum
Perfume
Candle
REN eye Cream
Shampoo

Hoping for something full size/luxe tomorrow! Would love a really good hand cream, mask or night cream.

nearly61 · 05/12/2024 19:50

I love the serum too -it's really lovely to use and feels like it has helped my dry skin already. The candle is gorgeous and I'll be sad when it has been used up -currently during on the mantlepiece as I type. I'm still on the fence about the perfume -must try is again tomorrow I think. I used the eye cream this evening and am rather surprised I like it as I'm not much of an eye cream fan usually - this will be finished though I think. Only miss is the shampoo -a bit small on it's own. Pity they didn't add a matching conditioner. But overall I'm delighted with Liberty's advent so far -very impressed indeed.

mynameiscalypso · 05/12/2024 19:52

I have been away for a couple of days so have been studiously avoiding the thread. I'm pleased with the shampoo. I also find Ren a bit of a nothing brand but goodness knows I need some help under my eyes so I will give it a go!

imp2007 · 05/12/2024 20:48

Serum definitely my fave too followed by the candle - wonder what tomorrow will bring.....?!

Yes it was. In fact the first three days were impressive but I felt the last two days were items I’d expect in a cheaper calendar - still nice products but not wow I suppose. I am still impressed overall and I do love how beautiful the calendar itself is.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 05/12/2024 23:17

Used the Rose de Vie serum on my face tonight it although it felt a little oily to start with, it only lasted for 30 seconds & then just sunk straight in.
I have normal skin but it can get a bit dehydrated in the Winter months.

I would say that the Rose De Vie is an oil & serum hybrid.

I really like this serum, but I'm a bit cross about that as it would have to be nearly double the price of my usual Elemis which I usually buy when it's offer

countdowntonap · 06/12/2024 07:04

Oh today is so ‘meh’ for me.
Had these/similar before either in last years or a Beauty Drop and I haven’t opened either.

Pootle40 · 06/12/2024 07:42

Oh I'm a big fan of AA Bath oils-have had their double drawer many times over the years so happy with that
