Happy with today as I’ve got fine hair and all the Percy and Reed products ve tried I like. I reckon we’ve received about £70 worth of products so far

Yes it's great value so far. I wasn't expecting 4 products in one door!

I'm pleased with today's stash . Also thank you to the pp who's keeping a track of the value of products, it's always good to know .

hby9628 · 02/12/2024 20:29

@Hadenough2022 I think you're right. I googled each item to see how much they are when I opened them in the morning. I'm going to keep a running tally.

Yes I check on the website also I think this morning was about £56

Thelifeofawife · 02/12/2024 22:07

I did a spreadsheet of the cost of everything before buying 😅
I am working between two calendars (this and Space NK), some products I have sold off already and replaced with some extras.
Todays door is Percy & Reed styling cream plus my Hourglass evil eye palette which I got on Black Friday (I did think this should be my Xmas eve treat but I want to use it on the run up to Christmas)

Mookie81 · 02/12/2024 23:48

Is today's hair stuff sulfate free?

Yogaandchocolate · 03/12/2024 07:10

After yesterday I checked that there were no extra products in the drawer today 😆

CorneliaStreet · 03/12/2024 07:19

Me too 😆

Hadenough2022 · 03/12/2024 07:21

Another brand I like and something I haven’t tried. £28 today which means we’ve had products over half the cost of the calendar in 3 days!

Roundaboot · 03/12/2024 07:24

Today's is a Laura Mercier eyeshadow stick in shade sepia which is a matte tan colour (nicer than I've made that sound!)
I really liked the eyeshadow stick in last year's calendar (the Bobbi Brown one) so I'm looking forward to trying this one too.

pattyparsnip · 03/12/2024 07:28

Happy with todays . I'm not much of an eyeshadow wearer but this is Matt neutral and I would wear it if I'm going out . Also heard good things about these. .

virgocatlover · 03/12/2024 07:36

Happy with today's, never tried this.

I sold this one due to the colour, it wouldn’t suit me. I am keen to try LM eye shadow though so would be interested in what you all think of it once you’ve tried it

MathsFiend · 03/12/2024 08:39

I think this on is a tad boring, feel like I’ve had a lot of LM or Bobbi Brown sticks in previous calendars or beauty bags in a similar colour. I suppose they have to use a bland colour like this to be ok with most skin and eye colours

Lexy70 · 03/12/2024 09:41

Happy with today, a really nice easy to use colour Loving it so far x

Caramelandsalt · 03/12/2024 12:05

At least this one isn't glittery, I found the BB one last year abit sparkly for my maturer eyes . It is difficult I imagine to please everyone with advents, but I'm quite happy to take the chance on not liking everything ( I don't check contents before buying) . I'm just hoping we don't get 2 cbd products again this year .

LivinInYourBigGlassHouseWithAView · 03/12/2024 19:40

I liked last year's eye shadow stick because it was a bit glittery as I generally only use them on nights out. Am happy with today's though, as it's something I'll enjoy trying.

pattyparsnip · 04/12/2024 07:29

Really excited to try this as I've just about run out of my current vit c . And worth £96 !

virgocatlover · 04/12/2024 07:33

Today we have a Dermalogica vit c serum. Think this is worth about £38?

OP posts:
virgocatlover · 04/12/2024 07:33

Oh yes £96, the smaller one is £38!

OP posts:
Yogaandchocolate · 04/12/2024 07:37

Think it’s £95 on the John Lewis website. The first two reviews say it’s great for teenage boys!

Roundaboot · 04/12/2024 07:45

This might be one of those products that I hope I don't like, as I'll never be able to re-buy! It does look good though and I could do with a bit of a glow

Hadenough2022 · 04/12/2024 08:43

This is the most expensive product I think? Looking forward to trying it

clary · 04/12/2024 10:08

Yes this is a big hitter. Exciting. Calendar excellent so far IMO.
