I am excited! I have the Liberty one and the M&S one. Between me, DH and DS, we've somehow ended up with 9 advent calendars (although most of them are edible). DS(5) has been excitedly asking everyone morning how long it is until we can start to open them but ai think even he will get a bit fatigued with 9 to open every day!

I succumbed to the Hourglass palette. Between my discounts and my girl math it was basically free.

I cannot buy anything else. I’ve got boxes all over my bedroom, at this rate I’ll still be working my way through them on next years AC thread!

I’ve also got last year’s Penhaligons and a Papier stationery calendar. DH has Paxton and Whitfield (our third year of it - it really is a thing of wonder! He doesn’t know yet. Children have Glossy Box, Harry Potter infinity and a cat toys one (the cats are their favourite thing). No one but me knows all of this!

December is my absolute favourite time - tree is bought and decorations go up on Sunday and away we go. Slightly dreading finding out how the kittens react to the tree!

H&B and JL here, with Degustabox as a family one. DP and DS just gave chocolate ones as DP decided not to buy himself a beer or whiskey one this year and I just could not find a grooming/fragrance one that would suit DS so I'll just make up for it with lots of bits in his stocking

@Growlybear83 @BakeOffRewatch @Waffles21 yes me too for the Liberty one -it's been sitting tempting me for weeks now so I'm hugely excited to (almost!) finally be opening it!! But I love finding out about the other advents too. Have to go and look for the waifs and strays one too as I don't want to miss the fun on there. Happy days ahead 😁

Yes, that's right. I'd describe it as functional rather than lux. Loads of lovely stuff though. And there may even be some vitamins in it 😀

I wondered if anyone has ever had a Birchbox subscription? One of the offers I've had today was for a free advent calendar if I take out a monthly subscription. I've looked at this before and I haven't got a monthly box at the moment.

I've also ordered a last-minute Degustabox but it's not here yet (and they've charged me twice! Hope they don't send two!

I had one a few years ago. It was fine. Like all the subscription boxes it gets repetitive after a while. I've got one for Glossy Box at the moment for DD, and it's quite similar in the level of contents.

This thread is now making me kick myself that I didn't get a beauty advent calendar this year! I know it's a long shot but does anyone know of any that might be available at a discount? I don't mind if it arrives late.
