Cult Beauty allows up to £50 of credit vouchers at one time. I think LF is the same. You can redeem them in increments so 5, 10, 15 etc. If you had £50 worth you can spend it all at once or in smaller amounts.

@Roundaboot thank you for the recycling recommendation, I have signed up. This one looks better for me as I can post items from home rather than have to travel to the UK with them as my local boots doesn't accept the beauty recycling.

I've just uploaded 29 empties to the app. Not sure how many will get through approval but even a few is better than nothing.

Thank you @Roundaboot you must have read my mind! I was thinking this morning that I recall seeing a post a few months ago about recycling empties but couldn’t remember where it was.

Wow that scheme sounds amazing (almost too good to be true!).

Can I ask - does it have to be emptied of items purchased from the two retailers? Or any? And is there a list of what they will accept?

The items are supposed to be "hard to recycle" but I've found for both the Boots and Recycle:Me schemes, they take all kinds of things. Have a look on the apps for a full list but I've sent used make up items (mascara, eye shadow pallets, eyeliner etc) and things like serum or hand cream tubes. Any brands.

I'm impressed - 27 of my 29 items were approved. One was rejected because they don't take shampoo or conditioner bottles and another because the front of the container wasn't clear enough but I think if I resubmit with a new photo it will pass.

My 6 products for RecycleMe have been approved, 3 glass foundation bottles and 3 glass mini perfume bottles.

Check the FAQs before you send. I read them today and there was something about a limit to sending perfume bottles in one batch - may have been spray bottles but check first.

I bought one when they first came out and had some great products out of it. I’ll sell off the other bits I’m less bothered about.
Incidentally, I almost gave into temptation to purchase one at an enhanced price on eBay, so glad I was in two minds about it and saw your post

Always good to check on Vinted for any £££ products you love in your advent calendar. I have just got the best Vinted bargain - a 15ml bottle of EGF bioeffect serum for £10! 😃

I also snapped one up. Annoyingly it hasn't despatched yet. We all know space nk aren't great with dispatching the ACs, well they weren't last year, so hoping it won't be delayed or, worse, suddenly canceled.

I do need to hold back from buying anything else for several months after this though, I’ve a ton of stuff to work my way through!

Thanks for this @MrsBnow12 I just got it with an extra £8 off and free shipping so a bargain at £23.99! Think I could sell the Medik8 for more than that and keep the rest for myself.

I have no idea how the discounts work on TikTok, only other thing I bought was the Latest in Beauty advent last year when it was reduced.
And you could probably sell either the Medik8 or eve lom to cover the cost of the box

My Space NK Addy Cal still showing as not despatched, SNK have form for this so I'm going to be giving them a call and finding out what TF is going on. Bit mean to let people buy a big item and then not update the order, been a few days now. After the fiasco back in September when they had too many AC orders to process I've lost faith in them!

Spoke to Space NK and the Addy Cals are all out of stock so they've had to cancel the sale and refund. Not impressed. Managed to get £5 ndulge points added to my account as a goodwill gesture/apology but I'd rather have the calendar. Good luck to anyone who ordered one - if it hasn't sent yet you may be in the same boat as me and need to phone them to get a refund as otherwise the order just sits there in limbo .

Oh this is annoying. I ordered one too then got a later email saying it was out of stock, but the order is still showing in my account. They really should just refund without us having to chase it. I was looking forward to it too.

I wonder if it's a software glitch that puts the calendars back in stock i.e they run some sort of update and it changes the status?

Although you'd think they'd just remove the listing altogether if there are no more, it is nearly March after all.
