OMG - thanks for mentioning the Degustabox!

I ordered one a few weeks ago and had been wondering where it was, and this chat prompted me to check. Turned out that I'd ordered it from Groupon (in order to use an extra discount code) but had never actually used the Groupon code to place the order with Degustabox 😱.

My Groupon account said that the voucher had expired, I was so annoyed with myself - but the voucher did still work when I just tried it on the Degustabox website 👏. I'm sure I would have been too late if this thread hadn't reminded me 😇. Totally my fault, I definitely can't complain when it doesn't arrive by Sunday, just grateful to have it at all.

In the meantime, I have Lumene, some old calendars hand-filled with goodies, plus a few non-beauty calendars (a jigsaw advent, the Pukka tea advent which is on offer at Amazon and the M&S chocolate cocktail liqueurs calendar (reduced from £10 to £5 instore a few days ago).

I couldn't get the LiB down to a price in the £seventies on TikTok so I left that one - I'm glad I haven't bought it (I think!). I could still be tempted by a post-Dec 1st bargain for Jadvent though 🙏.

I have the NUXE (should that be in capitals? I’m not even sure!) one which I am really looking forward to opening. My only dilemma is I will be in hospital for a while in December and the items are behind a cardboard door, not individual boxes. So I’d like to know each day what is there, but can’t exactly bring the whole whacking great big box into hospital! I’m considering asking DH or one of the DCs to open it for me each day and send me a photo, AIBU? Opening them all before or after the stay is not happening as it’s Very Wrong to open doors on the wrong date (no offence meant to people who do this ) I just know the lovely lip balm will be one of the days I’m in hospital and would love it then, as hospitals are so drying for my skin. Annoyingly the hospital isn’t really near enough to home for anyone to bring anything in or visit unless essential…

Still no sign of Gruum. If they used a courier rather than An Post, it may arrive tomorrow but otherwise it will be late. The tracking details have not been updated beyond "shipment prepared by customer", although they do claim it was collected on wednesday.

I really don't understand their logic of waiting until tuesday/wednesday of this week to ship international orders. They claimed they would be shipping on the 22nd, which would have been tight enough.

Talking of Gruum, I had a basket ready to check out on Look Fantastic with an offer of free Gruum RRP £24 soap set, but waited until I had double checked the gift cupboard, and now the offer has changed to a LF Gift Guide Catalogue instead …. disappointing!

PS thank you @IDontKnowWhatYouMean I’ve just had a letter with another bloody hospital stay in December (if surgery goes OK) but that one will be a private room so I’m going to take my bloody big NUXE box with me for that

Thanks, tempted but all spent up now, I have gone a bit mad on the BF deals and need to reverse ferret my spending. Kind of looking forward to BF being over, I'm sure it will be on all weekend now and then cyber Monday need a break before the post christmas sales start!

Tried the code anyway and it's not working for me, this is on Byredo but I'm assuming it's a sign from the universe to STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM ANY MORE BF DEALS.
