I just went and saw the review. I think others need to leave similar, frankly. I'm now relieved I've not ordered from them

It seems to work fine for me right this moment but I'm not ordering anything for a few good months

Oh that was my review 😆😆. After my last post I got a request to review my recent purchase. So I did 😆

That review was almost my email to them word for word but I added the pictures from Instagram and the products received so very hard to deny.
I also ordered on the Friday and said their excuse of selling out was rubbish as they knew exactly how many boxes they had to sell and they should have added a note if the hand wash set was not available.
Bet they will remember Friday 13th for a while but they have had an absolute shocker with this.

I've not had a response yet to my last reply rejecting the future discount and saying I'd like to return the box.

I rejected their offer of the £10 off code but out of curiosity tried the code to see if it worked (not that I intend to buy anything else from them I just thought I would check) and surprise surprise it didn't work😂. This was a beauty box not the mystery boxes .
I am not surprised!

I've tried to use my code on three different occasions, and it's never worked 😆

When I first saw that they had described their boxes as "infamous", I thought that they had made a mistake. Now it seems that they were being honest. 🤣

Had a response now and they are refunding half the cost. Seems like they would prefer not to deal with returns. I consider that acceptable enough compensation. To be fair they have been very polite.

Not sure I would purchase again but I'm less cross than this morning.

I've just had a reply from BB with profuse apologies, claiming that the hand set sold out really quickly (even though I ordered on Friday night before it officially went on sale) and they are passing the issue of misleading advertising of the perfumes on to their team. They claim I'm the first person who has raised this issue 😆😆😆but are giving me a 50% refund of the purchase price.

I have just had the same offer . I am happy with how BB have dealt with it. I agree they have been very polite and have replied promptly and recognised their mistake. I think under the circumstances it's the best they could do

Yes I agree. I'm happy with the response although they are very cheeky to say I'm the first person to have complained!

I also got half the cost back, after the initial offer of the voucher I said that was not acceptable and wanted to either return the box or I would accept 50% refund, they then agreed to this which I accepted.

Glad everyone else has had a satisfactory outcome. Hopefully they'll be more careful with advertising in future.

Well done, everyone for complaining and getting a satisfactory result. I think it’s important to hold companies to account when they get it wrong!

My £10 refund has increased to 50% without any hassle - can't fault the post-delivery customer service.

I have just emailed BB too. Glad everyone got a satisfactory outcome in the end

Heck, I'd screen shot this page of the thread and send it to them ... or post it in a review along with their claim that you're the only one that's mentioned it...

Thanks for sharing @HollyGolightly4 - obviously why the page was briefly unavailable yesterday - they were amending their description in the light of all the complaints.

It’s good to see complaints having a positive effect and companies taking action. Hopefully they have learnt from their mistake.

Just spotted the shower gel and body lotion that a lot of us got as a substitute in the BBB have an expiry of April 25.

That's not good . As I said , I'm sure a big part of their sales "technique" is to buy short dated stock at a discount then resell as mystery boxes citing original RRP.

@OvaHere Mine also had a date of April 2025 and the two other Jurlique items had a date of May 2025.
I managed to sell all four items as bundle on Facebook for £20 so am happy as I wouldn’t use any of the items by the dates listed, I did include the expiry dates in my selling post so the buyer is aware.

@diamondsandrose I'm sure you're right. I'd be less bothered if it was a scent I liked as I probably could empty them in a couple of months but I'm not keen on lavender or rose.

@MrsBnow12 Good idea. Maybe I should do similar.
