There was a mini CT Magic Cream in the Black Friday mystery box. Think this is the video they used to advertise that.

I got the Charlotte Tilbury magic cream in the last mystery box, so they have definitely been sending it out.

Ahhh interesting, curious to see if anyone gets it in this one then as I still think it’s a bit misleading to use it to advertise a box that doesn’t otherwise. Will compare contents against the ones we’ve seen today tomorrow 😀

Just checked and the oil and the hand cream have May 25 as an expiry date 😐

The ‘new’ ones they are advertising to be launched this weekend but already on the website 🤷‍♀️ they are saying has the magic cream and scent library in them.

That's definitely not a mini in that video unless that's a dolls hands 😂 Misleading as a huge price difference I would assume ?

Increasingly frantic emails from OK beauty re their boxes that are just not shifting. I would probably struggle to take one off them for any price , they are really pretty dull and continue to be overpriced . Compared to the rest of the market they have dropped the ball !

I will be staying clear from BB in the future. That was the first and last box I got. Apart from Jurlique oil it also had Institut Esthederm serum in it which was manufactured in 2022, so not fresh of the shelf either 🙈
their CS was shocking too, I only got a reply after contacting one if their founders via instagram 😬 ended up accepting a £15 refund which I was happy enough with as some of the stuff I was still happy with, but took a few back and forth emails to get there.

Hmmm. There should be 6 fragrances, not just 5 as showing in the photo kindly shared earlier. Why not just say mixed selection of CT fragrance? I really did think we'd get the actual boxed discovery set with 6 minis.
Let's see what arrives tomorrow.

@HolaLolla I had the same experience , had to look up one of the founders on Instagram. I copied and pasted the very cheeky email trail to her. I didn't get my refund but a couple of ok free products and an apology .
My issue was same as you , products I felt were nearing expiry / bit elderly .

My AA spray absolutely stunk to high heaven , totally off and the Whind clay mask had separated. Their reply was both were fine , there was nothing up with the AA spray and to mix the mask with a spoon 🥄 😉

Then I saw my name on their website giving a glowing review! They are a total shower . As I said before , I'll be sticking to space nk , cult etc . The boxes are mystery for a reason ...

I’m glad I missed out on the BB box now. It was the CT fragrance set that drew me to it, and it definitely was noted as a set, and showed a photo of a set.

I think you’ve had a few good mystery boxes but it’s this sort of thing that puts me off.
Last year, I bought a load of mystery boxes from Glossybox when they were heavily reduced for Black Friday, it was worth it because each item worked out at only approx £1/1.50 so I had no issue with a few duds.
I’d be annoyed to spend £30/£60 or more and not get value for money, especially when they are showing photos of some things which don’t represent what’s inside

My BB pamper box arrived and was if identical to the photo shown yesterday, I have asked to return it and for them to cover the return postage costs due to the misselling and misleading nature of the box. The CT perfumes all say sample- not for resale, not sure how they think that could be considered a gift.

Spoke too soon. It has just arrived. Same as the photo yesterday apart from a teeny tiny Shiseido serum (@IlovePond 😂) instead of the Ole Hendrickson moisturiser.

Face oil and hand cream both have exp dates of May 25 and the hand cream box is a bit battered.

What I thought would be the boxed hand set has morphed into Rose body lotion and Lavender shower gel.

Not impressed. I have a meeting in 10 minutes so will pop back later see what responses others get then decide what to do.

My BB box has just arrived - same items as the photo, with rose body lotion and lavender hand wash.

I do hope that all of you who are fed up with BBB complain and are able to get refunds. This company sounds pretty awful from an outsider’s perspective 🙀

Mine has just arrived too. I'm in two minds. I've totted up the retail value, excluding the perfume samples, and I think it comes to just over £170, so it's not bad value overall, and I will probably use most things. I probably would have kept the perfume kit for myself anyway, so I think on balance I'm going to keep this, but maybe email BB customer services to point out that it's not as described. I'll be interested to see what response @MrsBnow12 gets.

Same! I've been tempted by BB boxes but never purchased and I never will now. Very cheeky mis-selling! I hope everyone gets satisfactory resolutions.

@Growlybear83 was yours also shower gel and body lotion rather than the hand set?

I’ve emailed, they say they expect to reply within 24 hours, but could be longer in busy times.

Yes, lavender shower gel and rose body lotion.

Mine was also these along with a Citrus hand cream. I was going to keep the perfume as well but was planning on gifting the set as I don’t use fragranced creams and shower gels etc so think it is this that has really got my back up.
Anyway I will report back as and when I hear from them.
