I'm using my old Liberty 2022 advent box to pack up my mum's presents this year. I collect travel sizes and the bits and bobs from beauty boxes and sets that I won't use, like face oils (hate them) that I know she will like and I have more than enough to fill it. Then she can regift the box to the charity shop she volunteers at.

Free mascara from Boots today with ANY purchase.

I managed to get one about an hour ago - quite a few left in my local. It’s red and sparkly, so am quite pleased.

Note: You do have to make a purchase to get it, but it can be anything - not necessarily no7 and no minimum spend. You could buy a bottle of water. I got a reduced price shave gel as extra present for one DS!

I didn't realise there was an app advent. Just found it now. I'm not sure I'll get in to a shop today though. Mind you, I really don't need another mascara so no major loss.

They were all gone when I got there. I only went in to Boots to find the mascara but then ended up spending about £40 on other stuff. Doh!

There were a few in my local store this morning but it was just after opening. You don't have to make a purchase - just make sure the offer is loaded on your app.

Interesting @virgocatlover - the women at no7 in my Boots were quite snippy with me when I asked for the mascara and referred me to the terms and conditions, (which do say ‘with purchase’).

They were not best pleased - I think - when I politely pointed out that it was with ‘any purchase’! I grabbed a shave gel as a stocking filler - wanted a couple of extra things for DS x2 anyway, so that’s one down!

This is good value. I got the pamper box they had last month, personally for me that one was better, but I think both are great

I also got a free hand cream trio from SpaceNK as they had given me a £10 off, no minimum spend voucher as a new customer. I almost missed it as it was buried in the box that arrived last night.

All was not lost on my trip. I found a Kate Somerville eye cream in TKMaxx for £19.99 RRP £82.

That’s a really good bargain @OvaHere - I am keeping an eye out at TKMAXX for the exfoliate!

They had some really good stuff in compared to usual. Quite a lot of Rodial sets. There was also a lot of k beauty, I'm getting better at recognising those brands.

I try to buy stuff that's sealed with the security tag because too much stuff in there gets opened and tested.

You’re so right @OvaHere - you may remember me posting about a woman, (old enough to know better), who was opening all the jars of body lotion, poking her fingers in, then reporting back to her friend in the phone, before putting them back on the shelf.

@BlueLimeRun If I recall the voucher comes with your first order, it is the box and looks like marketing etc so bet loads get missed.

My first order was online and I got the voucher in the box. My friend signed up in store and was given the voucher then.

So now the BB has sold out I've decided I really wanted it

@BlueLimeRun - as others have said - remember to rummage in your box - I almost chucked mine away. It’s a nice deal.

I went in store to look for something for exactly £10, (when I get a no-minimum spend freebie, I like to avoid paying extra!) I would have had more choice online but free delivery on any order has stopped so in store trio of hand creams it was!

I got the last mascara in town. Dd is home for the weekend so when I was picking her up from the bus we decided to check the nearest boots as it was showing as in stock there and it wasn't too far away.

I got the last one and the woman on the till told me the previous one went to a woman who had also tried the 3 other boots in town before getting it there. She must have been desperate for a freebie as traffic is mayhem and the shops are not close to one another so she had to drive.

@IlovePond I didn't get one. Dd got it 😁. In fairness, I did offer it to her as I have way too much mascara.
