I'm on the cusp of ordering that BB box but like diamonds the steep delivery charge is stopping me. It's so much^^ 😳

And the banner across the home page stating Free Hand Set and Discovery Set is a tad misleading as the position and wording implies it's in addition to the box.

I can't see where it states box value?

It doesn't state a value. It's just our guess work that it will be max £200 but I do suspect the revealed items are part of the value so I'm not expecting a lot outside of those.

For me the BF set was probably the poorest of their recent boxes but want to try the CT perfumes so have gone for this one. I will probably gift the hand wash set, I like the partial reveal as helps makes a more informed decision.
@OvaHere I current love the Then I met you balm cleanser from a SpaceNk edit for make up days and switch between Byoma, KS and the Decree from Harrods for second cleanse but have around 4/5 waiting to be opened.

@tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz nobody knows the value, I'm estimating £150 value as a minimum, based on my previous boxes.
Yes the banner is miss-leading. From the notes on instagram, my clear understanding was these 2 items (valued together at £85, are part of the box, not freebies.
I think the part reveal is very useful. I might have not bought it if I didn't know about the perfume which I know I want.
Some of the brands they include are too early for the market but they eventually turn up in other kits from other online shops. Legology for example. I still don't know what it's for and have 3 tubes which I must remember to use next summer for a bit of a leg tint.
Kjaer - never heard of the brand before and saw it elsewhere recently.
Rehab, another one I didn't know about and they won at the 2024 Beauty Awards last month.
There are a few others that eventually became better known but I can't remember them.
Obviously being a recognised brand or product doesn't mean it's any good.
It's the hype more than anything plus clever marketing.
My theory is that a lot of brands are heavy on PR and they push their way into the market through mixed boxes and influencing various awards panels.
As opposed to letting the user decide and then work your way up into the awards stage.
It baffles me why the Elasticiser, Augustus Bader and Dr B Sturm are still included in so many kits. They've been around for ages, surely the truth is out by now. Either good or not. I find the first two to be absolutely useless althoughI do like Sturm.
Possibly BB are some of the first to be offered the products which they then use in these mystery kits.

@MrsBnow12 I've had my eye on the TIMY balm cleanser. My favourite currently is the Tatcha one but it's really expensive for the amount you get. I managed to get a back up with half off during BF but I do need to find a reasonably priced alt. I find balm cleansers tricky because a lot make my skin react but nothing else takes make up off as well.

I have resisted all.the mystery boxes from BB but have a DD who would love the CT fragrance set so have taken a punt. I wouldn't have bought without the reveal but I can see the value for me from this and the Jurlique which will be useful so worth buying. Agree the postage is annoying though

I agree I’ve made full use of the edits I’ve bought and no DoDs. We’ve got a good group of posters on here now who can cut through the marketing and advise on which ones to snap up when released.

I’ve reregistered with elf but that offer shows on the website and not the app. Waiting for DD to tell me her preferred shades but not confident I’ll get the offer!

One of the new BB boxes fell into my basket last night as well. I think they have always been really good value for money, although the most recent one was less exciting than any of the others I've had. As someone else said, the contents can get a little bit repetitive and I hope I don't get any more of the bloody hair capsules, which you can't even sell on Vinted! 😆. But I think I've become addicted to the mystery boxes.

The ELF site is so weird @Doubleraspberry - it worked for me on the app. Then, after my order, the log out button disappeared for ages. I thought I was going to have to delete it to escape😹

I have just ordered a BB mystery box too. Thought it was worth a go at £30 as the hand set might make a nice gift

Boots have a free No7 Mascara to pick up in store today (limited quantities). I think you can load the offer on to you advantage card. If anyone is heading to a Boots anyway it's worth trying.

I managed to get a spot stick and the lip balm plus the palette and free postage for £16 so thank you. But the site and app are hard work!

I’m going to suggest DD download the app. I imagine she’ll have a gazillion points by Jan via those games.

It would be quite ironic that after months of analysing Advent calendars we reach the conclusion Beauty Boxes are better😂

😹😹😹If those games work for her @Doubleraspberry, please tell me how they are supposed to work. No one in my house - including big gamers- can work it out, so I suspect mine’s faulty🙀

I find nothing happens when I click on many of the links so it wouldn’t surprise me! And I haven’t had the rewards on offer for buying a lip or skin product added so I must have had to do something I failed to do! I feel old.

@Puravida23 that's what I have done this year. Got the Space NL fragrance and then a couple of beauty boxes to make up the difference. Tbh I'm even thinking the fragrance wasn't great value as I haven't had anything that I really like yet!

Another ELF order for things I don’t really need, well except one thing for £5 😅
I’m also tempted by the BB box
