Montell was training in a pair of Matalan sport leggings on Saturday that I also use as PJ’s rather than exercise own. It’s happened before with something much more exciting, a top maybe but I can’t remember who wore it.

The woman advertising the Omaze house lottery was wearing my Baukjen blouse.

Made me realise just how bland and middle-of-the-road my dress sense must be.

Kat Slater (Eastenders) wore my wedding dress before I did but after I bought it which made me think twice.
It looked well on her in fairness.

I had a top from Debenhams ( was a few years ago ) that I hadn't yet worn . Mo from Eastenders wore it , and I gave it to a charity shop still with the labels on !

I’m always surprised it doesn’t happen more often. Given how many thousands of each item are produced I think it’s odd I hardly ever see anyone wearing things I own

I stopped buying clothes from M&S over 30 years ago when Gil Tilsley was wearing my sweater on Coronation St. The embargo continues.

There was an older character on Eastenders (whose name I have now forgotten but she was a regular years ago) with a market stall who regularly wore my Monsoon hat.
Marian from Motherland wore my jumper in an episode - I actually had it on when I was watching it!
It seems I am not a fashion leader but I do get very excited when I see my clothes on TV, no matter who is wearing it.

One of the characters on killing eve was wearing a fenn wright mason dress I bought secondhand

In a drama series before covid someone was wearing a Zara dress I had then.

It was was daughter's wedding dress too. A Maggie Sottero that she'd already ordered.

On a different note, I also get very excited if my charity shop donation makes the window display. I nearly bought back my White Stuff summer dress when I saw it on the model.

Cindy Beale (Eastenders) wore a top I had (and still have) in about 1997. I was a teenager and it cost £30 in Next (a lot of money then and Next was much nicer than it is now). It looked much better on me than it did on her 😁

I had a navy Abercrombie & Fitch halterneck top years ago that I absolutely loved. Then Buffy wore it in an episode! Was extra cool because I was in Ireland and it was long before A&F were available in the UK or Ireland.

I'd bought a Cos necklace in the sale years ago and saw it on a beautiful wealthy character in an episode of The Bridge!

Kier Stamer (well not him but his wife Victoria) had on my Me & Em dress for the “arrival” at number 10 - I had it in the wardrobe still with the tags on, loved it but thankfully it was still within the return window - back it went.

Maeva on Made in Chelsea had my Paris sweatshirt on from H&M. The French girl in the Cathedral episode of Ludwig had my & Other Stories jumper on. Kat Slater wears one of my sleep vest tops from M&S as an under vest. I love how ridiculously excited I get when I see my stuff on TV.

One of the queens on Drag Race UK wore a pink tartan skirt that I have - it has not been out of the wardrobe since!

Becka from Bad Sisters had my duvet cover and Tyrone on Corrie used to wear a Next t shirt the same as DH which he was not impressed by 😂

Once had a Chanel-inspired suit from Next back in the late 80’s when it was considered quite a posh shop.
Then Bet Lynch had it on behind the bar at the Rovers!

I’ve just mentioned Next. It really was fabulous when it first launched!

Girl band in the late 90's who I can't remember the name of (but I think the one who replaced KK in AK was in it) had a top shop top I had.

It was- stylish, a bit different, well-made, attractive stores. I never step foot in it now. They sell ugly tat.

Not the same but I've got a well loved, well worn, jumper that comes out every year and has done for 10 years or so.
I saw a woman wearing it the other day 😆 the shop doesn't even exist anymore where it was from.
