i was watching some obscure stately home program, a historian was wearing the same dress I was wearing. Id got it from a charity shop. Its not a proper make and a really unusual design.

Years ago I had a floaty summer vest top from New Look that Fizz from Coronation Street came on wearing once.

Had the worst experience when husband bought a pair of black swimming shorts recently and later discovered he'd stained every towel in the hotel room purple. On top of that they took about 5 days to fully dry despite being in 30 degree sun 24/7.

Oh my god - I was horrified to see Julia from Motherland wearing a sweater I had. She's the worst dressed woman on tv!
To the charity shop it went.
Other than that, Angela Rayner had a similar green jacket to me and I think we both look good in it!

I remember seeing Roxy in Eastenders in the same t-shirt from River Island that I had.

I've seen Willow in Home and Away in the same Superdry hoodie as me too.

Mary on Sherlock wore a near identical wedding dress to mine, from the same designer, about 2 weeks before my wedding. Luckily DH said “isn’t her dress unusual, I really like that!”

About 15 years ago my (I thought) ultra chic black hat turned up on Dot Cotton 😆

I didn’t see it, which is why I was wondering whether @Waystation suddenly thought it looked awful. Or was so distinctive that a dress she’d bought for work was going to be hailed by the entire office as the ‘arriving at Number 10’ dress every time she wore it…?

I have a plant pot in a tray I l love, just from ikea and I saw it in a movie.

Not on TV, but when Chris & Rosie Ramsey were touring their podcast, they were sponsored by Stitchfix who provided all their clothes. One show they showed their outfits on Insta and she was wearing a top that I'd been wearing and loved.

Unfortunately for me, she looked absolutely stunning in it and ever since I can't look at myself quite in the same way in it!

Could be, although to be honest, it was lovely but not particularly distinctive.

Quite a few years ago my DH bought me a relatively expensive (£140) coat from Topshop for Xmas. I didn't love it but he was pleased with himself so I did wear it. I then saw either Stacey or Courtney wearing it in Eastenders and I couldn't bring myself to wear it anymore!

When Brookside was on in the 80s.. Gabrielle Glaister who played Patricia ( the posh lady) always wore shoulder pad jackets and she wore about 6 that l had.

Also one of the John Wick films has him visiting a very posh, dimly lit men's bathroom in a luxury hotel. There is a row of nice, expensive-looking mirrors above the marble countertop with fancy washbasins.

Except those mirrors are actually from Ikea and I know because I have one too. Fair play though, it is a classy-looking mirror. Shame they have stopped doing them.

A friend had a colour themed birthday party and I had nothing to wear in that colour so had to do a trawl around the shops. Settled on a blouse that I'd never have bought as a rule, then saw Judy Finnegan wearing it on TV.

No offence to Judy, but we're not of an age or fashion vibe and the blouse went down as a massive waste of money.

Alison Hammond wore my dress. I’ve not worn it since. Feels like it’s mainstream now 🤣

I think Alison Hammond dresses well, she always looks nice.

Rosie Jones wore a Sugarhill Brighton boiler suit I have on Taskmaster a few weeks ago. I was thrilled. She appears to have several Sugarhill Brighton jumpsuits.

Is that what it is? I really liked her jumpsuit.

@BeatrizBoniface I don't think her task outfit is SB but she's worn at least 2 in the studio that I recognise - the black one with leopard emblazon (which I have) and the pink one with a parrot.
