it kind of goes against everything I said I'd do but I've fallen in love with it.

tell me to pull myself together and spend the money on something else.

If it's "the one" and you can afford it, then definitely go for it. Luckily my "the one" was £800 but honestly, i would have paid £1600 if that was how much "the one" cost (and I couldn't actually have afforded £1600). PS, you obviously like fairly unusual wedding dresses, have a look at Pronovias dresses, they're all a bit different and fab.

Not mad on the VW outfit on the 'hanger', although I am sure that it might look wonderful on. A friend of mine had a VW wedding dress and it did transform her figure from good to utterly amazing! That was custom made, however, and cost £6,000 fifteen years ago...

How about having a look at this corset site? Their stuff looks really beautiful and I think that it would be relatively easy (and cheap) to get a matching skirt made. Plus it is all custom fitted for you.

Only £370. www.eternalspirits.com/?q=node/9344

Never thought I'd say this about VW, but I love it! The whole outfit that is.
If you can afford it and it suits you, buy it!

treelover · 29/04/2008 13:59

well? did you buy it?

I have friends who divorced partly because of the stress of paying their debts off
