Did you have one? I LOVED it, worked really well on my hair. It all seems to be hot air stylers now.

I was musing about this this morning when I was using my Revlon One Step.

Why do they stop making really good stuff? ( I still haven't forgiven L'Oréal for discontinuing the blue anti dandruff shampoo!)

OMG yes! I used to take mine clubbing and me and my friends would touch up our hair do's in the toilets. Those were the days!

Used it to do curls on my hair for my senior ball when I was 17. It looked terrible 😀

I had one! It was ace. I got it from Santa and I remember the hiss of the gas, the smell when it was heating (and then the smell of lightly toasted hair), and that little glowing dot you could only see when it was ready to use.

My mum still has one to create the ‘helmet hair’ style she has had since the 80s!! Lord only knows where she gets the gas canisters from. They travel a lot and there’s always a kerfuffle at security about them 🤦‍♀️

The best thing ever. That smell of burning hair and the hairspray gunge that stuck to it. The hiss of the gas. I loved it.
