I have bottle green suede heels and I'm not sure if I should go for nude tights or very black sheer tights. It's for a winter wedding and I haven't worn sheer black tights since the 90s but I quite like the idea? Would you go nude or black

Personally I'd go bare legs. No need for tights, unless you particularly want to wear them.

Will definitely need tights - the wedding is in January in the far north of Scotland, it'll be Baltic and I'll look very out of place with bare legs. 🤣

I think I'll have a try on session and see what I like best. I don't hold with you can't wear black tights with coloured shoes as long as the tights are very sheer and not in complete contrast with the shoes. I think my problem with nude tights is that I can never seem to get the colour just right.

I doubt it, I'm Scottish and it's perfectly normal to have bare legs at a winter wedding 🤷🏻‍♀️ plus the point of nude tights is that you shouldn't be able to see them anyway.

I'm also Scottish and have been to many winter weddings over the years. At the weddings I've been to, it's been very rare to see someone bare legged at a formal winter wedding. Summer, or a more low key, casual event, of course.

Nude tights would be perfect.

Definitely decided on nude, I had a wee try on session last night and the tights I have aren't quite the right shade but the overall look is definitely nicer. Have checked out the Woolford and Falke sites above and they have some beautiful tights.

I would wear a dressy knee high boot with them myself but I’m not up to date with what’s wedding appropriate
