It’s so hard to find a 100% wool Jumper, can you help?

I don’t want cashmere, but neither do I want anything with polyester or acrylic and I’m finding so hard. So many shops use terms like wool rich, with wool and wool blend but that’s not what I want. I’m finding a bit of choice for turtle necks, but I’d like to find a crew neck ideally in brown or burgundy under £150, have you found anything? I do have a few Uniqlo merino jumpers and they’re ok, but I wanted something a little warmer.

Do you have a wool shop nearby? A wool shop near me has a lady who knits jumpers for a fee 🙂

Not sure of the style you’re after but depending on your size and if you don’t mind something fairly straight fitting or slightly baggy, perhaps look in the men’s sections? I had a look at Woolover and they have a lambswool crew neck in the women’s section but not in brown or burgundy. The men’s version does have a lightish brown.

Community clothing, they are the business, lovely jumpers.

All Saints always do 100% merino wool jumpers.
They have a couple now but usually add a few more as the winter season approaches.

Thanks so much. I haven’t found any at M&S or John Lewis. The Arket one would be perfect arghhh if only it were in stock. The House of Bruar one looks great, thank you I think I’ll go for this one and will report back.

Tbh, the usual suspects are all good for wool jumpers. The above are just some I found interesting.

Celtic & Co do lovely woollen jumpers in a wide range of colours, styles and types of wool. I have several and they are all excellent quality.

I have this but in the pink and it's lovely, so soft for 100% wool.
