It’s so hard to find a 100% wool Jumper, can you help?

I don’t want cashmere, but neither do I want anything with polyester or acrylic and I’m finding so hard. So many shops use terms like wool rich, with wool and wool blend but that’s not what I want. I’m finding a bit of choice for turtle necks, but I’d like to find a crew neck ideally in brown or burgundy under £150, have you found anything? I do have a few Uniqlo merino jumpers and they’re ok, but I wanted something a little warmer.

My most worn wool jumper last winter was a man’s jumper in small from M&S. Nice and long crew neck. Haven’t looked this year yet.

I have just searched the M&S app and they have merino wool crew neck jumpers
In about 10 colours for about £30.

I was in Zara earlier and they had a few 100% wool ones in different colours including brown and burgundy. They were £49.

That's a good colour, but it's 55% synthetic.

Scottish company. Some lovely lambswool sweaters in their sale.

Massimo dutti always have 100% wool sweaters and I like them, they wash and keep well.

Lands End, Marks and Spencer, Seasalt are where my 100% wool jerseys have come from. A friend swears by Woolovers. Charles Tyrwhitt and Joseph Turner do wool jerseys for men but I prefer them as they are a bit longer in the back.

I have this 100% wool jumper in lime and it is my absolute favourite jumper. It looks quite simple but fits me beautifully and is excellent quality, I love the seamless design. Solva woollen mill in West Wales sell beautiful 100% wool jumpers for about £70. They're a small company so you could try contacting them to see if they could sell one like the one you're looking for.

I have a couple of these too, bought around 2019, but I find them thin and quite rough. I recently came across an 18 year old Gap merino wool jumper in my wardrobe. It was thick merino and so soft.
