Hi all, I have a wedding at the beginning of October and need a dress. I don't have a lot of money to spare so I can't spend an awful lot. I wondered about this dress?

I think it's lovely- elegant, pretty and Autumnal. The fabric probably isn't stellar at that price but the design is lovely.

It is lovely, but I'd order it in plenty of time in case, as @Squirrelsnut mentioned, the fabric isn't great. I've ordered a few things from Love & Roses that ended up going back because the quality wasn't good.

I saw someone at an event recently wearing that dress. They looked amazing. Wasn't close enough to check the fabric.

If the fabric isn't great you could try wearing a slip underneath it.

Vinted is full of lovely dresses at the moment, so if you're confident about your size that could be a good alternative, I've just bought an unworn Monsoon dress for less than £40.

Great colours for autumn. Order it but agree it’s worth checking out Vinted. You can filter for material if you want to, which gets rid of a lot of the dross!

It's a lovely dress and I honestly wouldn't stress about the fabric. Some posters on Mumsnet seem to be very sensitive to these things but in real life very few people come out in hives if something isn't purest silk.
