Wedding band without engagement ring, something more ornate?

Going to be getting married but won't have an engagement ring.

Rather than a plain wedsing band I was thinking of getting something else because there won't be a engagement ring there too.

But I have no idea what?

I don't 'do' jewellery at all so am genuinely cluesless

Or any clues to what I could search for

I have small diamond chips in my wedding band. They don't stick out so very easy to wear but adds a little sparkle /interest to an otherwise plain band.

I was thinking maybe I need something a little thicker as there won't be 2 rings?

I think a full diamond eternity ring would look lovely - a nice dainty one, not a big chunky one, if you're not usually a jewellery wearer

I lost a stone from my engagement ring and wore just the plain gold band for years. One Christmas dh bought me this. I’ve been wearing it for ten years now and it brings me joy everyone I look ar it.

Mine is similar to this. I also don't have an engagement ring and wanted my wedding ring to have a bit of sparkle.

And I like PP's suggestion of Alison Moore, I have one of her gemstone rings that I wear on my right hand.

A posy ring? Engraved with flowers or sometimes stars. Etsy has lots of modern versions.

Same re engagement ring. This is mine. Dirt cheap, but offering for inspiration. One of my friends got a beautiful art deco filigree ring.

I have no engagement ring & chose a platinum band with small diamonds set in one half, can’t find anything similar now but it is quite simple with a bit of sparkle, I think it was in the eternity ring section.

My wedding ring is a 1carat tw princess cut band like the picture. I absolutely love it and love the way it looks with or without my engagement ring. It's very comfortable and I've continued to be happy with it for 27+ years
