Wedding band without engagement ring, something more ornate?

Going to be getting married but won't have an engagement ring.

Rather than a plain wedsing band I was thinking of getting something else because there won't be a engagement ring there too.

But I have no idea what?

I don't 'do' jewellery at all so am genuinely cluesless

I have a half eternity ring as my wedding ring. Mine is emeralds and diamonds. I never really wear my engagement ring any more because it's very high set and scratches my son, so the eternity band is a compromise between plain band and flashy engagement ring.

How about an eternity ring? Mine is asscher-cut diamonds set in platinum. I went for a full eternity band because I knew if I got a half-eternity I'd be forever checking it to make sure the plain bit was at the back! I also find this really easy to wear and keep clean because there aren't lots of little crevices to gather dirt and dust.
