The first one I absolutely love, but it's expensive for a swimsuit and might be a pita to return if it doesn't fit.

I don't mind this accessorize one and it looks more supportive.

Really want a nice pastel coloured swimsuit but I struggle so much with swimwear fitting properly.

I really like the second one

Peridot1 · 25/07/2024 16:23

I like the second one too.

InTheRainOnATrain · 25/07/2024 16:24

Much prefer the second one!

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 25/07/2024 16:26

I like both. £57 might seem like a lot for a swim suit but are you someone who’s shape stays the same year on year? Because a £57 one should last quite a few years.

Summerbeachwaves · 25/07/2024 16:32

Yes it would likely last a long time.

I'm a bit worried about the shape, looks like it could be one of those high leg ones, which I don't like.

I want something comfortable but pretty.

How easy would it be to order both to try on and return what doesn’t suit?

(be careful though, I ordered 2 swimming cossies to do that and both are going in my bag)

The description says it's high leg.

The second one would depend on whether it suited your boobs - I don't think it looks good on the model.

CurlsnSunshinetime4tea · 25/07/2024 16:41

White can become quite see through when wet.
White also doesn’t suit all skin tones.
Both are a classic style, I like the sides and back of the mint one, not necessarily the cleavage.
Order both return one IF ALLOWED.

Summerbeachwaves · 25/07/2024 16:41

I didn't even read the description to be honest.

Arghh, swimwear is so annoying.

I like to top and pattern of the first one but the bum of the second.

The first one looks like it's coming from the UAE so could be a pain to return.

Both swimsuits are pretty in terms of pattern.
I prefer the first one, however it is high leg and there is not much backside coverage at all. The angle of the camera doesn't show this so well. The 2nd suit has much more backside coverage but the top half doesn't look too supportive if you need support.

Floralnomad · 25/07/2024 16:46

The second one looks like it is as ‘high leg’ as the first and the top is not as nice as the first .

TubeScreamer · 25/07/2024 16:50

Second one much nicer.

StarlightLady · 25/07/2024 17:02

Marginally the first. I prefer the pattern, straps, cut round the legs and the general shape of the first one. But l like the neckline of the second better.

l just fail to understand why most modern cossies have such high backs. I yearn for the return of the very deep scooped back.

Yes... I think getting a cheap white based or pale swimsuit might be foolish, needs to be good fabric and maybe lined.

I don’t think there should be a problem with that pattern.

InTheRainOnATrain · 25/07/2024 18:57

If it helps at all OP DD has an accesorize bikini with a white background and it’s double lined and really good quality. I’ve never examined it in detail but it doesn’t stand out as massively different from the fabric on my white-ish Vilbrequin bikini that cost a hell of a lot more!

CoffeandTiaMaria · 25/07/2024 19:00

They’re both high-leg.
The second one looks like it’s squashed her bust flat! Very unflattering and possibly short-bodied.
I prefer the cut of the first one.

BobbyBiscuits · 25/07/2024 19:02

I love the first one. It's really unique and I love the straps. Second is nice but a bit more ordinary looking, like I've seen it before.

JimNast · 25/07/2024 19:28

Sun tan lotion will stain them

olympicsrock · 25/07/2024 19:39

i don’t like either . They will only suit if you are size 10 with big boobs as they are u forgiving and boob flattening .

Summerbeachwaves · 25/07/2024 19:43

If anyone can suggest a nice pastel coloured swimsuit I'd be grateful.

I think the first one is much classier, and not that much more expensive.

There are a couple on ASOS but I can't link to them all. I tried a couple of times to link but it won't let me. Search for swimsuit there are a couple of nice ones

LlynTegid · 25/07/2024 19:51

Second one looks nicer.

Summerbeachwaves · 25/07/2024 19:59

Asos have got some lovely ones but a lot seem to have that ridiculously high leg.

The Marrakech one is nice and similar to one I linked.

Is it too much to ask to have a bit of arse coverage !
