The first one I absolutely love, but it's expensive for a swimsuit and might be a pita to return if it doesn't fit.

I don't mind this accessorize one and it looks more supportive.

Really want a nice pastel coloured swimsuit but I struggle so much with swimwear fitting properly.

I prefer the latest Seafolly one.

Crazykefir · 28/07/2024 12:07

White swimwear must be lined. Take it from v embarrassing experience in the local leisure centre.

Not always. It depends on the fabric. I had a textured unlined one which was fine. Sadly accidentally left on a beach (along with my makeup and my knickers!) some years ago.

Sadly you can’t do a “wet test” until you have bought them.

Yellow can be another problem fabric when wet!

Try this company. I love their swimsuits!

blueshoes · 28/07/2024 14:52

I think a solid colour is more elegant and stands out amongst the sea of prints.

Feel free to disregard as I appreciate this goes against the tide.

Sometimesright · 28/07/2024 16:43

I always have to buy tall otherwise it ain’t pretty!

Snoopsnoggysnog · 28/07/2024 17:37

I really dislike the second one in the OP sorry, hate booby swimsuits and that one doesn’t look supportive. I like Pour Moi but not sure if they have pastels.

OlympicNightmare · 28/07/2024 17:46

I like the shape of the first ones but the design is very child-like to me. I’m not keen on the second one either.

BUT

it doesn’t really matter - choose what you love and you think will give you confidence and happiness.

Scentedjasmin · 28/07/2024 19:22

I love the first one. I think that it's very chic. It seems very classy and I love the traditional shape. The second one looks cheaper.

ladypete · 28/07/2024 19:31

Meadowfinch · 25/07/2024 19:44

I think the first one is much classier, and not that much more expensive.

Totally agree!

Bunsforbreakfast · 28/07/2024 21:11

I'm on holiday and bought two swimsuits from Manners London, couldn't recommend them more. Definitely not frumpy and I'm feeling both comfortable and hot despite being very unfit, average cup size

First one is gorgeous, second one is hideous, just my view.

LBFseBrom · 29/07/2024 14:53

We?

I like the first bathing costume, it looks very good.

Not keen on the Next one, don't care for the pattern, and I generally like Next.

NotAlexa · 29/07/2024 15:06

The first one looks stunning! The second one may need body tape depending on the shape of the body - remember this is a model and she has one arm up for a reason!

twoforj0y · 29/07/2024 15:09

First one has a lovely cut, will show shape/figure nicely. The pattern is simple. I like it.

The second one - I am baffled by people preferring it - it's hideous! It's squishing down the boobs and doesn't work with natural body shape (see boobs: squished).

londonmummy1966 · 29/07/2024 17:28

Decathlon have a number of pretty/pastel suits by Olaian which is a surf brand - they are supportive and have an unusual but secure back strap arrangement. Most are also reduced....

StarlightLady · 25/07/2024 17:02

Marginally the first. I prefer the pattern, straps, cut round the legs and the general shape of the first one. But l like the neckline of the second better.

l just fail to understand why most modern cossies have such high backs. I yearn for the return of the very deep scooped back.

I didn't notice until you said! But I'm with you. More bum coverage and less back any day.

Omlettes · 29/07/2024 19:37

I loath swimsuits that crawl up your bum and fanny. Designed for perving not comfort.

CbeeGeeBee · 29/07/2024 22:44

Spend as much as you can on swimwear, unless you are a size 6 model when you can get away with primark! You can see & feel the difference with quality swimwear. Simone Perel have a fantastic sale on now, Boden always reliable and also calzedonia. I also have a lovely Biba one from House of Fraser which was a sale bargain. Accessorise ones always look fab on the model and shit in normal bodies.

Strawberrypicnic · 30/07/2024 12:58

First one MUCH nicer! Don't get the Next one, the pattern is meh and I don't like the cut of the neckline, it's not doing much for the model and even if you have great boobs I think it won't flatter once wet

paperrockscissors · 30/07/2024 18:15

That’s gorgeous

Cielovista · 31/07/2024 21:01

Go for a bikini - you’ll be much too hot in either of these!
