This is good from Clarins

SmugColditz · 09/04/2008 16:39

their concealer

Aslong as I make sure I moisturise, ut's fine.

Anna8888 · 09/04/2008 18:10

Agree with Mrs Badger - the concealer should only go on purply/grey bits.

I used to use Touche Eclat every day in another, tireder life and it worked quite well.

Now, in a more restful life, I don't feel the need. But I do use it in the very inner corner of my eyelid, pretty much unblended, to brighten my eyes for evening make-up. Benefit Eye-Bright very good for same effect.

Testing

GrapefruitMoon · 15/04/2008 19:13

I hate the way Touche Eclat (and other copycat products) go smelly before I've had a chance to use them up...tis the brush I presume

I use Benefits Boing concealer now for under eyes.

FeverishFish · 15/04/2008 20:35

you are supposed to clean the brush i hear

Oblomov · 15/04/2008 20:51

I watched Gok. Must get some.
You need to clean the brush ??????

mamalovesmojitos · 15/04/2008 20:56

touche eclat rules. i've tried loads. it's the best!!!

FeverishFish · 16/04/2008 10:02

i am not convinced but tbht he way i look today id not take advice from me

cornsilk · 16/04/2008 10:09

Use touch eclat - is okay but may try something else next time. That estee Lauder one already recommended sounds good.

cocolepew · 16/04/2008 10:19

Avon Sent me this to test, and I'm very impressed, especially for the price. I usally use a mix of TE and No7. The only problem was the one they sent, medium, was too dark for my skin tone,(death warmed up). But it is super creamy and goes on really smooth, not drying or flakey. It did take me about a minute to realise I was trying to open it at the wrong end, but I don't think I can blame Avon for me being dense.
I don't know if the lighter ones maybe more of a concealer/illuminater(sp) but it works well as a concealer.
8 out 10.

CountessDracula · 16/04/2008 10:20

touche eclat is a highlighter not a concealer

fuck knows waht a highlighter is but the orange bird in SpaceNK told me this in no uncertain terms at the weekend

FeverishFish · 16/04/2008 10:20

wow! that si a lot cheaper than TE.
Have oyu ever used TE?
has anyone else got an von one?

FeverishFish · 16/04/2008 10:21

well oyu knwo what i mean
liek a hide your dark cilces
why the fark is it a HIGHlighter
"here folks line up and admire my bags"

CountessDracula · 16/04/2008 10:22

As I said I have no idea what a highlighter is

cocolepew · 16/04/2008 10:25

I always used TE, then got No 7 free with a foundation and I like that too. I sometimes find TE is too bright, especially if I start using darker make-up in the summer. The Avon one really is very creamy.

KMUN · 16/04/2008 10:27

clinique airbrush, £15, zero smell issues.

cocolepew · 16/04/2008 10:28

Just sniffed Avon one, and can report it smells fine.

Shhhh · 16/04/2008 15:34

cod, got my eye concealer today...what do I do now....

CeilingCat · 16/04/2008 15:38

Is this a free for all? Can I go into raptures over my Touche Eclat?

Twinkie1 · 16/04/2008 15:42

Aunt used to work for YSL - you are supposed to not just put it on eyebags but bring it down onto cheeks so they sort of blend in and always put it on after rest of make up which I thought was weird as I always put it on first!

Will try that Terry one out when I finally go back to work and have to walk past Space NK everyday!

bigspender30 · 16/04/2008 16:07

have tried the Avon one-crap. IT didn't cover anything. Touche Eclat all the way..

maidamess · 16/04/2008 22:47

Don't buy the body shop version of touch eclat, it is dire.

I'm a no 7 gal myself, half the price and just as good, in fact better coverage I reckon, and I've got industrial strength shadows under my eyes. I'm the Shadow Home Secretary.

FeverishFish · 17/04/2008 09:42
