I've tried TE, clarins and No&, liked TE and clarins was good too, my only problem with them all is that they looked slightly caked (probably my under eye skin too dry)

Mailed you but posting this here too Cod.

I have been using the autograph m&S one.

Generally I have been pleased but with a few provisos. For those with big dark circles I think it might possibly be a bit too light for brilliant coverage. It is pretty light in that I didn't notice I was wearing it which is a Good Thing, but also for particular darker areas it wasn't like being airbrushed. The applicator is ok but there's a bit of a tendency for too much to load up if you turn one click too many. It was intially tricky to apply but I think that is probably true of any concealer if you've never used one.

I did like it for highlighting purposes, under eyebrow etc. It did a nice job there.

Your skin does have to be well moisturised though or you do get a patchy/cake effect.

Overall for under a tenner I think it is probably worth it, but if you've got enormous shadows I'd test it first.

right I have tried to one from dermalogica

My background is that I have 2 toddlers and have had little sleep over the last month or so due to ds teething. Im 28 but never have to much of a problem with dark circles under eyes etc. In the past I have used TE and found it ok and never really compared it with anything else..............till now...

dermalogica total eye care

1.The appearance is light in colour
2.Scent....Not an issue
3.Consistancy is very light and not thick like I find TE.
4.The tube us smaller than I expected given its RRP is £30..!
5.No clicking tubes etc..you simply squeeze it out...

Overall I am quite surprised my it. Its pricy although I would pay for a "designer" brand (already usen the like of Dior, MAC,chanel etc) and the fact that it works is an even bigger incentive to buy it again.I only needed a little each time..around 4 tiny dots of it were placed under each eye..it was then blended in.

The fact that it was thinner in consistancy that TE (Prior to application) was a concern for me.....BUT surprisingly it applied brilliantly and gave me the coverage required.
I wore it along with my usual makeup and I found it blended and applied really well.

As I said above, given my age and the fact that I don't suffer badly with dark circles maybe this is why it suited me more..it may be worth prehaps trying on someone similar who suffers more iykwim...

BTW im quite fair skinned and it blended well YET partway through I ST Tropez'ed myself and it still blended in well..

He he he! Have just had a real good giggle reading this thread!! Who needs comedy tv with you lot around!!
One that you haven't mentioned is the Dior Skinflash which is fab but also works out more expensive cos its £22 for only 1.5ml (TE is 2.5ml, amazing how 1ml makes such a difference!) That said it has lots of good skin helping ingredients in it so is like a treatment as well as a bag concealer!
I wash my TE brush with dd's baby shampoo! works a treat! then squeeze brush with tissue to absorb moisture, hey presto no more mouldy sock smell!!

Shhhh · 26/04/2008 14:21

lol at "moudly sock smell" .

Does the undereye paste in a pot from benefit count? Am not too sure about it, seems to be a bit cake-y and shows the lines?

Shhhh · 27/04/2008 19:43
