Which Trainers are you Loving/Buying?

I wasn’t in the market for a new pair, but I came across a fashion page the other day and saw these in green and pink. It was love-at-first-sight 😍 I ordered them straight away (and I don’t generally buy impulsively). They arrived and I love them. They look beautiful (IMO), are very comfortable and weirdly seem to make my (size 7.5 UK) feet look smaller. I love them so much, I’m tempted to buy them in blue (with a yellow tick) too. I can then where them with most of my outfits 😀

I got some black/animal print Campus 00s recently on a bit of a nostalgia whim but I’m living in them these days! So comfy and I love the chunky skater vibe.

@DoYouSmokePaul they look good, but I rarely wear black myself.

I have a bad Nero Giardini habit going on. Love the designs and they are so comfortable, I wear them for work and casual.

I love Moda In Pelle. My favourites right now are a fuschia pink pair. Or patent black.
But @AnnieSnap if you love your ones you MUST get another colour... or two! You'll regret it otherwise (speaks from experience! )

How are the thick/chunky soles to walk on? I have mild balance issues and thick-soled sandals etc are out for me as a result (I tend to 'go over' on the sides of my feet when wearing them), but I'm hoping it wouldn't be an issue with trainers as they'd be secured on to my feet iykwim...

Rishi Sunak put me off Gazelle. When I see them, I can’t not have that image of his shallow little self in them 😳

Do you mean mine? If so, the photo makes the sole look more chunky than it actually is. You could try them and return them if they are unsuitable?

@AnnieSnap Woah there! Mr Sunak wears Samba not Gazelles. My DD had the same as him and sold them in protest!

If you are referring to the ones I posted then I don't find them a problem. I am a terrible cockler, I had to give my platform Ugg slippers away as I was always going over on them but have no issue with the Gazelles.

Also @AnnieSnap I meant to say I love your Cortez! I had a pair in the late nineties and wore them to death.

Thanks, I mean any of the thick-soled ones really. I think I probably would need to try them on to see if I'd have a problem, but I like how they look.

Oh my mistake. I try to avoid him, so that’s my excuse. Fortunately, I have no Sambas. I can now safely look at Gazelles. Although, I am so in love with my Nike Cortez, that I don’t know that I can resist my next pair being the blue version of those 🙂
