I wasn’t in the market for a new pair, but I came across a fashion page the other day and saw these in green and pink. It was love-at-first-sight 😍 I ordered them straight away (and I don’t generally buy impulsively). They arrived and I love them. They look beautiful (IMO), are very comfortable and weirdly seem to make my (size 7.5 UK) feet look smaller. I love them so much, I’m tempted to buy them in blue (with a yellow tick) too. I can then where them with most of my outfits 😀

I had a pair of Nike Cortez that were so similar to that when I was at sixth form, I love them, but am I too old to do it again if I remember the trend the first time round 🫣

I’m fairly lucky in that my plantar fasciitis has healed but I worry it’ll flare up in case I use my special soles in trainers.

I just bought sambas 🙈 reliving my youth I love them. Missed the whole sunak thing.

I got some Adidas Campus which I love. I've lived in my grey Gazelle's for years, and wanted something a bit chunkier. They look good with wide leg trousers and long dresses - less good with little shorts and regular skirts.

Im a EU 42 and buy the mens 42/8 as my feet are too big for the women's range but for me they are true to size and very comfy.

Okay, I weakened and have ordered these (in blue & green). My justification for buying two pairs of trainers so close together is that I have bought no footwear for a few years 😳

@FrancesDelphine Hey, just saw your message about the Gazelle bolds! I am thinking of buying some, but have flat feet/overpronating arches, so need good arch support. Would you say these have that? Thanks!

I love the New Balance BB550 at atm, as I'm desperately swerving all things Nike. I love the Kirk Geiger white jewelled sneakers, but my kids refused to let me buy them due to lack of street cred!

I can't cope with gazelles or sambas as the arch support is lacking, and the soles are thin. I wanted Cloud 5, but they look like running trainers, not street trainers, the same as Hokas.

Skechers and Pavers for me.

Can't be doing with heavy trainers since discovering them. Plus some trainers are uncomfortable for me having flat feet and the bits that supposed to contour over arched feet feel like stones.

I have just treated myself to a pair of Hoffs for my birthday present to myself. Haven't worn them yet but looking forward to doing so!

I saw these in the shop and was disappointed they didn't have my size in black! Maybe I need to re-investigate
