Which Trainers are you Loving/Buying?

I wasn’t in the market for a new pair, but I came across a fashion page the other day and saw these in green and pink. It was love-at-first-sight 😍 I ordered them straight away (and I don’t generally buy impulsively). They arrived and I love them. They look beautiful (IMO), are very comfortable and weirdly seem to make my (size 7.5 UK) feet look smaller. I love them so much, I’m tempted to buy them in blue (with a yellow tick) too. I can then where them with most of my outfits 😀

I love Vejas. New balance seem to be everywhere at the moment too so they'll probably be next to become so popular they're no longer cool. I've just bought these though and love them:

Went trainer shopping and initially wanted a chunky trainer (similar to New Balance 530). Ultimately I tried on a lot of very comfy trainers but they looked TOO chunky on me. They just looked wrong. So then I tried on Gazelles / Sambas & omg they were so uncomfortable. Loved all the colour ways (JD had a cool selection) but they were so flat & hard. Might have felt less uncomfortable if I had tried them on before all the running trainers! Then I tried on these Cloud 5 trainers & loved them!! So comfy & look a bit different. Very happy.

So many lovely trainers! I tend to like the sleeker ones but the chunkier ones are kinder to my feet. Dilemma right there. I love the Onitsukas.

I’m finding the Nike Cortez are a happy medium. I have arthritis in my feet, plus tendinitis at the back of one heel and a history of plantar fasciitis, so I am very careful about footwear. Cortez are not really chunky, but they are more padded and with a slightly thicker sole than Sambas etc. I find them really very comfortable, but I went up half a size as they are known to come-up small.
