Pretty nightie?

I’d like something comfortable and pretty. I want to be able to empty the dishwasher wearing it without the kids making cringe faces. Trying to avoid T-shirt style nighties that make me feel like I’m 12 years old. Also something that DH would consider alluring would be a bonus!

Is anyone wearing something like this that fits the bill? (I’m 5ft 5” and size 14 if it makes a difference)

I have a surprisingly flattering white cotton dobby long sleeveless nightie from Peacocks.

Last year I bought a couple of nice ones from M&S, I'll see if they have something similar this year!

@Chronicallymothering very nice! Don’t think I’m their target audience though. I’m more blobby mum making scrambled eggs than sleek silhouette floating round my villa.

I'd love to find a lightweight , non clingy nightie with LONG sleeves . This sounds just the ticket .
Couldn't find it on line but I'll have a look in store.

DOH , just noticed you said sleeveless. Seeing what I want to see .
It's just that I have to sit up in bed and long sleeves would be lovely .
Wonder if I could find an oversized shirt ?

@OMGitsnotgood I went for size Small - I’d say I was a 10 and these would do 10-12 easily. I’ve just ordered another because I spilt bleach down one when cleaning the bathroom the other night!

Isn't it pretty? It's very nice quality considering that it isn't ridiculously expensive and it feels lovely and floaty on. It's nice to support a small, women-led business as well.

Watching with interest. The last time I wore on of my satin ones DP asked if I'd borrowed it off my mum. I was very indignant, but didn't let on it was actually something my mum would wear 🙈 so he wasn't far off.
