Oh that’s such a shame, I wonder if they’re victims of the weight loss jabs, lots of their clothes were quite loose and baggy?

I hadn't thought of that. A lot of their stuff was v roomy, even in the larger sizes.

I have lost weight and taken a lot of their sweatshirts to the charity shop as it's now too voluminous.

I’m sad to read this. I had actually noticed that I was getting continual emails with offers and large discounts but I largely stopped buying because everything is absolutely massive. They do some lovely things, I just wish there was a better sizing range. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if weight loss jabs had had an impact.

I’ve got some lovely sweat shirt long coats, linen duster coats and cotton swing coats from them, I loved their own designs. I think they’ve been hit hard also by rates rises, employee costs and they moved in to a huge unit which must cost a fortune to heat - first rule of business is you might not be able to control your sales but you can and must control your costs if you can. Hopefully they’ll downsize and start up again, they also did lots of the country fairs too. So sad, family business too.

Oh that’s so disappointing. They had some lovely dresses and were good to deal with. I bought quite a few. I hadn’t realised my eye on a linen/cotton one for summer.
I hadn’t thought about the fact that many of their customers could be on the weight loss jabs and wouldn’t need the big sizes anymore.
I disliked how you couldn’t search for a particular size.
If you looked for a 16/ 18 it included all the sizes up to a 26 or so- this was a bit of a palaver then to narrow down exactly what would fit/suit.
Their dresses weren’t colourfast as I learned to my cost.
I’m sorry for the staff who may lose their jobs. Any hope of it being sold as a going concern ?
I’m not in the UK so don’t know the rules re going into administration.
I do hope for a good outcome for the company and its employees.

I also found out the hard way that some of their garments were not colourfast!

I hope they can continue trading somehow.

Thats a shame. I have had a few jumpers over the last few years. However always huge. I could never work out how a skirt could fit someone from 10-22. I.used to think it a pity that they couldnt also sell some more accurately sized clothes within the range.

One thing that annoyed me was that you couldn’t filter clothes sizes - if i were looking for a dress in size 16 it would show me all the dresses that would fit from 16 to 26.
The size 26 would be swimming on me as would sizes 18, 20, 22 and 24.
I do hope that the business continues 🤞

That’s a massive shame.
I have some excellent long sleeve Ts from them. I went to look and see if they had any other colours last week, and saw the website was down.

Their last FB post was on 1 March, with a 10% discount code.

Their website holding page has changed though, and is now a bit more positive (possibly!) than the “we’re taking a break” message a week or 2 ago.

It states the founding family associated with it have stepped back. But a familiar and much loved presence remains closely connected………..

There are a lot of very pissed off people posting on Facebook who have lost money. They have definitely not got the reaction they were hoping for. I hope that people are not left out of pocket.

The notice appeared to me to state that between certain dates people who have paid for items won’t receive them now and that if you returned items you won’t get a refund.
I hope I’m wrong.
Also those of us with loyalty points have lost them.
Perhaps it’s a bit like when the Middleton’s Party Pieces company went bust the name/company was bought but not the debts.

Well I would not buy from them again if customers are left out of pocket, that is not on. If you’ve paid for the goods, they must have them and accordingly should send them out, they are not a drop shop company. Do bettter.

I love kit and kaboodle and have never had any issues with them. What a shame there's been all this kerfuffle. I hope it gets sorted

Now all those posts have been deleted.
The models should be paid what they're owed.
Customers should be refunded.
Until they do that, for me the trust in this company has gone.

Customer service is awesome. Bought a dress and a few weeks later noticed one of the seams was coming undone. They sent a new dress pretty much straight away

Yes, very poor. And she always looks great - I bought a couple of dresses purely because she looked so nice in them!

Which model ?
There is a dark haired model and a blonde model usually.
I saw 2 dresses I really liked but am wary to order them.
Who has taken over the company ?
Or is the same people but a different name ?

Despite using 2 colour catcher sheets a magenta coloured dress ran.
DH’s pale pink shirt is now deep pink.
Not sure he’ll wear it. 🙄
