Has anyone ordered from them ?
If so, your thoughts please as I have seen a few items I like.

I ordered a jumpsuit, it's lovely. Fairly good quality. I'd order again.

LadyEloise1 · 13/05/2024 12:58

Thak you for replying @ladygindiva.
Because I live in Ireland and due to Brexit it is more difficult to order from the UK and extra taxes have now been added because of being non EU ☹️

Never had an issue with them.

ladygindiva · 13/05/2024 13:01

I will add.... Alot of the items are marketed as one size, including the jumpsuit I bought. I'm a 12/14 and it fitted perfectly but anyone bigger than that I struggled to see how it would fit them. Worth bearing in mind.

Puppylucky · 13/05/2024 13:03

I used to buy a lot from there - the stuff is nice and reasonable quality. I prefer Laundry B and Texture now as the styles are slightly less voluminous - I'm short and some of the K and K stuff swamped me!

TheFormidableMrsC · 13/05/2024 13:24

I've bought lots from there but take care with sizing and check measurements. A lot of it is one size marketed at 10-22 so clearly will look enormous on you if you're slender. I have found a lot of the clothes to be far too big so I'm really careful with checking before ordering. They are also very helpful and delivery is fast.

They often do offers - 10% off next order, 25% off whole site for 3 days, that kind of thing.

However the popular stuff sells out so I wouldnt guarantee getting it in a sale.

But maybe the offers could help offset the added costs?

twilightcafe · 13/05/2024 16:53

Some items are not colourfast so will lose a lot of dye. Make sure you wash their clothes separately first to get rid of any excess pigment. Otherwise risk ruining a load of washing.

twilightcafe · 13/05/2024 16:56

I do have a lot of their items, mostly sweatshirts, linen tops and harem pants - just be careful when washing them for the first time.

Tortiemiaw · 13/05/2024 17:01

I adore k and k. I've got about 7 linen tops and 3 pairs of shorts from them. Excellent quality and so comfy. Everyone comments.

NoOneFellOffTheirChair · 13/05/2024 17:10

I just put 2 pairs of their linen dungarees on eBay this morning. They’re lovely and cool for summer. I wore them a few times last summer but have lost 2 stones and they absolutely swamp me. I’m only short so I look like Mr Tumble. I was a bit disappointed by the quality. I think with heavier wear, the hole for the straps looks like it would start tearing away but perhaps on a taller person it wouldn’t be a problem . I just had to adjust the straps almost to the max due to my lack of height.

Their delivery is really fast and you get a mini pack of love hearts in the package . Well I did last year anyhow.

BigFrau · 13/05/2024 17:32

If you have any kind of bust be wary of the dresses and some tops that have a big seam right across the bust. It makes the dress hang off you from your widest point.

Has anyone else bought from LaundryB and Texture ?
They look interesting too.
I'm in Ireland and post Brexit the cost of buying clothes from the UK has gone through the roof because of custom charges, taxes and extra delivery charges.
So many great suggestions on Mumsnet of UK based clothing companies selling lovely clothes.
But now so expensive because of Brexit Sad
Some companies like Boden have a separate Euro site which really helps.

Join their Facebook page and reward scheme. They often do codes. I think you can get 20% off if Youn subscribe to emails.

I've got a couple of the Paulton boiler suits, they do them in linen, jersey and corduroy. I've bought quite a few bits from them, lots of one size Made In Italy and Diverse brands. I also buy from Chester Boutique, The Style Attic, Thread Shed and Manamou - they all sell similar products, although K & K sometimes have exclusives, like the Paulton boiler suit.

Their website is down.

Really good company, I’ve ordered from them for 10 years - check returns though, some of these online only boutiques are 14 days

twilightcafe · 16/03/2026 10:44

That is a shame. I've got quite a lot of clothes from K&K.
