OMG the new Uniqlo bag designs!

OK, I know not everyone is a fan of these bags but I can't get enough of them, they're exactly right for me and what I carry round daily. I already own this bag in six different colourways/styles and really cannot justify buying more, but I have a feeling I know how this is going to play out... 😂

I have just ordered one of those for my 3 yr old granddaughter. They are shown on children so I don't know if the strap would be long enough for an adult. They are super cute though, I like Marimekko.

Just went back to look and there is a photo on an adult, so it would work.

Yep they're definitely suitable for all ages. I love this kind of thing despite being 56 ... definitely in touch with my inner child. 😂

That cord one is lovely. Not sure about these designs. I wish they would do the classic marimekko unikko pattern.

Those prints are seriously naff. Reminds me of old school Orla Kiely stuff. Shape of the bags is nice though. I do think having 6 of the same bag just shows a lack of imagination though 🤣

You must be joking. They look like toiletry bags in those prints/colours. Or as a pp said, kids lunch bags.

The only adult women I imagine using them as handbags would be the type to wear Disney apparel out in public.

I love the plain ones and have 4 of them in different colours/fabrics) but not keen on these, sorry. They are just too "out there" for me.

I was in Uniqlo this morning and saw these (they have matching clothes too...). I was a bit tempted by the blue stripy one but I really wanted the crochet one so I stuck to that plus a cord one because they're great too - I bought it in black and regret not buying the olive now. I'm not a huge pattern fan though and worry these will become a bit ubiquitous.

Feel free. I'm a bona fide member and not affiliated to Uniqlo in any way. The link was provided in case of interest to other posters. There are plenty of threads on S&B where people post links and enthuse over things, doesn't make them paid promoters.

My ten year old would love them. I'm afraid I don't get the hype with these bags. They're unusable as a cross-body with anything over a C cup.

No, I'm not. But I found them very useful while recovering from an arm/shoulder injury as I was able to dip into them easily while my mobility was restricted. So got several in different colours to go with different outfits. Still finding them useful now as they're v lightweight, which I also need from a bag due to various pain issues.

Also I tend to put bags on Vinted when I'm bored of them/to make room for new ones. I've no doubt a few of the Uniqlos will eventually go that way too.

Guess I missed the memo about everyone having to have the same shopping habits. 🤷‍♀️
