OMG the new Uniqlo bag designs!

OK, I know not everyone is a fan of these bags but I can't get enough of them, they're exactly right for me and what I carry round daily. I already own this bag in six different colourways/styles and really cannot justify buying more, but I have a feeling I know how this is going to play out... 😂

I have a couple of the bags to use when walking the dog but I’m not a fan of those prints at all.

I have the olive cord one which I love and thinking of getting another one for summer. Not a fan of the patterned ones but the navy stripe is quite nice.

I find the shape really useful for when I’m commuting, I can keep my phone and money handy on my front while I’ve got all the other crap I need to carry in my backpack.

And I’m an F cup but find it sits under my boobs perfectly 😉

I bought into the hype and bought one of these bags last year but found it useless- much too small to hold anything and would mean fumbling about for keys etc as there are only two sections. Mine has been decommissioned for use as a poo bag/ treats holder for dog walks!

Thanks for the heads up. I need one of these for summer. I was eyeing the Studio Ghbili ones in Asia but it wasn’t available until I left. These are so colourful and I love them.

I love the Uniqlo Marimekko collaboration- I have a few of their summer dresses now. Very tempted to get one floral and one stripe :)

Also tempted by the green corduroy one!

I find the bags very handy and love my turquoise one.

I like this one, the small drawstring bag. I can fit plenty in it (including water bottle) and it's lightweight and practical for walking without looking like a rucksack. It was also less than €10 in the sale. 😁
I bought it after clicking on another thread in S&B about Uniqlo bags, so post away OP!

As pointed put by a pp, Marimekko has been around way longer than Orla Kiely… I bet that OK was influenced by Marimekko prints at some stage.

Why do people find loud prints so offensive? I’d never say “I find your outfit dull/boring” but people seem to think it’s ok to say you’re dressed like a child/clown/whatever.

I love the plain versions of those bags and I love Marimekko but I don’t really think these ones work.

I love the Uniqlo bags, they are the ideal size and so light to carry, I've got two of the plain colours. But those designs are not for me. I'm quite relieved I don't like them, so no temptation to buy😃

Oh seeing the pictures of the green cord one makes me want it even more.

I rarely use handbags at all; despite this have two of these already and now badly want the navy one.

I have the green cord one and I love it, I generally like bright prints but those are not really doing it for me. I read something about a crotchet one above though..... I was in Uniqlo a couple of weeks ago and didn't see one

They’re so practical and pretty.

The prints do seem a bit childish if I'm honest, but if they bring you joy then that's all that matters.
Rest assured that there will be a new bag to lust over next year., so don't stock up.

I bought the crochet one when on holiday in Tokyo last month. Dd bought 3 in different colours. They were half the price there did I wish I’d bought one of the nylon ones for me. They are great for holidays.

Urgh. I absolutely hate these. Like the Uniqlo bag and would buy another, but not feeling these florals at all.

I do love my purple and my olive one. That was until the zip jammed on the purple one and o can't open or shut it !

I think the crochet ones are the beach bags looking ones? I saw them in Asia this year.

Argh now I want the olive one, I already have the black corduroy one!

I absolutely love these bags though. They're a great everyday cross body bag and fit a deceptively large amount in.

I really don’t like them. They look like the sort of bag a child would use. Not a grown adult.

They are! I couldn't think what to call them so I used crochet which is the term they used on the website. They're a bit bigger than the nylon/cord ones but will be excellent for summer I think.
