Please help me find a gorgeous dress for a wedding reception

I really need help finding a dress for a June wedding, just the evening do.

I'm a size 10/12 ( bigger on the hips than on top) and 5"10. I only go out a couple of times a year and I'd love something that makes me feel amazing and be a bit of a jaw dropper.

I can't go too short as I'm carrying a bit of cellulite at the back of my legs and it makes me a bit insecure.

If you've had your eye on a beautiful dress, please can you link it so I can get some inspiration or just plain old copy!

I’ve just bought a Diane von Furstenburg drape silk dress for a wedding on Vinted. I can’t find the one to link but she seems to have some gorgeous designs that are ££ full price but turn up second hand.

I don’t have a great suggestion but thinking you’d look good in the style of dresses Hannah Waddingham wears!

I'm going to look extremely tight here but I recently wore this to an evening wedding and very rarely for me,I actually felt good in it.
I'm similar sizing to you just slightly shorter.
It comes in lots of colours too. I wasn't expecting much for the price but the quality was great.

The & Other Stories dress is a gazillion times nicer and more interesting than any other suggestion.

The & Other Stories dress @652needtogetup posted is amazing and would look fab on someone with your height and figure OP. A proper show stopper. I’m tempted to buy it myself as am a similar shape but I’m only 5’3” so it wouldn’t work on me.

It's all subjective but I don't think the other dresses suggested would look amazing on anyone as none of them are particularly nice. The oh hello one for example has a baldy stitched back seam.

I guess we all have different tastes but I think this dress is horrendous. The style, the shape, the colour are just awful.

The OP wants something in the vein of the Nadine Merabi dress she posted for reference, something she considers knockout and jaw dropping. Not a dress that bares absolutely no resemblance to her specifications which you personally find “interesting”.

If its not something you're likely to get much use from why not rent something instead? You'll be able to get something that would otherwise be way out of budget.
