Just that really. I wash mine every other day but might start doing it every day.

I used to do it daily but it's got drier as I've got older and so I've reduced it to every other day and it's fine.

MonsteraMama · 30/04/2024 12:36

Once or twice a week. Very long, thick, curly hair that would be an absolute birds nest if I washed it more frequently.

I don't think there are many hair types that benefit from daily shampooing. What's making you want to wash it daily?

TokyoSushi · 30/04/2024 12:37

Every single day, without fail. I know, it's a lot, but I just don't feel clean if I haven't done it!

BranchGold · 30/04/2024 12:37

I used to be every day but since hair extensions every 5/7 days.

I find applying some dry shampoo/talc in the night before bed helps, and then in the morning brush it through with a quick cold blast of the hairdryer.

mynameiscalypso · 30/04/2024 12:37

About 6 days out of 7. I hate the feeling of not having clean hair. Sometimes I skip if I'm not doing anything that day but I always regret it.

goldenretrievermum5 · 30/04/2024 12:37

Every other day - it’s very straight so any grease becomes obvious really quickly. I wish I could get away with longer intervals between washes but sadly not!

Eyesopenwideawake · 30/04/2024 12:38

When I have a shower so 2 or 3 times a week. Less in winter, more often in summer.

samestyle · 30/04/2024 12:39

Every 2-3 days, long, thick hair but roots get greasy, I have to shampoo 3 times.

savethatkitty · 30/04/2024 12:40

I know it sounds a bit disgusting & it took awhile to get used to (was previously a every 2nd day hairwasher) but once a week. Apparently, it's better for your hair.

ViveLaOeuf · 30/04/2024 12:40

Twice a week. I have very thick hair and it's actually less greasy since I started washing it less. I use a bit of dry shampoo on the roots in between if needed, but that's not often.

pinkdays · 30/04/2024 12:40

Once a week. Dry hair so any more than that it would break!

MalibuBarbieDreamHouse · 30/04/2024 12:43

I wash my hair everyday, I have done for the past 20 years - it’s long, medium ish and definitely not dry. Hairdresser has said that it’s in good condition and colour doesn’t fade quickly. I try to exercise everyday and I just don’t want sweaty hair! I tend to wash my DDs hair every night too, there always seems to be sticky bits! And I keep my eye out for any crawlers!

CombatBarbie · 30/04/2024 12:43

Pre covid, every 2nd day, now only once a week and my hair is alot healthier for it. Don't get me wrong, the first weeks were horrendous with greasy hair etc but it was covid so no one of importance was going to see me 😂.

My daughter also started doing it, previously washing every day as fine and oily,.... Now she's every 5/6 days and her hair is now really long, despite never being able to grow it past her shoulders previously.

Bananadramallamas · 30/04/2024 12:46

Once a week. It's thick long and prone to dryness if I wash it more often.

ElleLeopine · 30/04/2024 12:47

Whenever I have a shower, so every day.

idontlikealdi · 30/04/2024 12:47

Every three days unless I've been to the gym. My hair is so much better for not washing every day.

Ladyj84 · 30/04/2024 12:47

Once a week washed,dried,straightened.

stayathomer · 30/04/2024 12:47

Twice a week as same as others I have thick crazy hair so it’s less greasy if I do. I leave conditioner in for ages and use an oil afterwards

HooverTheRoof · 30/04/2024 12:48

Every day, i cant cope with the gross feeling of not washing it. I've tried every other day but my hair never got used to it like everyone says it will. Its fairly short, thick and oily. I don't use much heat on it, don't bleach it or use harsh dyes etc so maybe that helps but my hair dresser says it's very healthy.

KeepSmiling89 · 30/04/2024 12:50

2/3 times a week...usually after I've been out running as I get very sweaty and dry shampoo doesn't quite cut it for me!
Also got curly hair so I can go up to 4/5 days (max) without washing.

OldTinHat · 30/04/2024 12:55

Used to be once or twice a day. Now it's every fourth day.

Mandarinaduck · 30/04/2024 12:55

Every morning. There is no way I at all I could have left it for longer when I was younger. Now I'm older, in terms of appearance I could just about get away with it every other day but it feels yuk, my scalp is uncomfortable and prickly and the hair doesn't smell fresh. Bleurgh!

Roomination · 30/04/2024 12:58

Twice a week. My hair is very dry and I nave a pretty inactive life. In summer if I get sweaty I’ll do it as needed.

WinkyTinky · 30/04/2024 13:04

I was a dedicated daily hair washer for years, but have managed to cut that down a lot over the past few years in attempt to keep as many hairs in my head as possible! Mind you, I go through lots of dry shampoo. Twice a week for me now.

Pointshopgirl · 30/04/2024 13:07

Same.
