I have found an old Prada bag charm that I will be digging out as well as whatever key rings or charms I can find. It’s a bit of fun.

I have one Kipling bag with a soft monkey, and that's it for me.

I have 3 Kipling bags and a rucksack, perhaps I better put the monkeys back on, I have furry monkeys and non furry ones residing in a drawer.

Why not, it’s a fun trend. I still have some nice twillies and I’ve noticed that teen DD has been sporting this trend (particularly the hello kitty charms) for the past six months.

I won't be joining in. I think bag charms are childish and a bit tacky. I hate that trend of wrapping scarves around the handle too, I don't understand why you'd want to.

I have a round Kipling coin purse that I attach inside a bag ( its about 3" wide ) just to have a few coins on me .
The teddy bear one looks like something a 5yo would get from Claires .

I put a scarf on my suitcase handle as every other case is grey , so I can see mine instantly (but not on a bag)

Oh gosh, no! I really dislike excessive hardware on bags anyway. Adding jangly dangly cluttery things would drive me nuts.

I like plain things with no visible logo, no shiny metal bits and nothing that jangles.

Last time I was skint but had a lovely pale yellow handbag from Matalan & I bought 2 of those fluffy ball keyrings which I attached to the handle of my bag. Everyone who saw it thought it was an expensive bag when I had done the whole thing for less than 20 quid.

I just imagine marketing people sitting around trying to think of something, anything they can try and flog to people who don’t need anything but like shopping.

Also, lipstick holders, phone charms.
