Casual trousers that aren't jeans!

I live in leggings or skinny jeans. I'm bored and need an alternative for spring/summer. What do you all wear day to day? School run etc?

Either the M&S chinos linked above or Next chinos, I have to have a longer leg so generally just get either of these as some brands are too short

I have two pairs of These in black and khaki. They work well with boots, trainers, loafers and sandals in summer. I live in jeans and these are the only other trousers I really wear. My dream linen trousers would have a high waist with pleats ans flow out beautifully from the waist, maybe cropped but I have never found a pair that tick all all the boxes.

My god is it just me, Im trying to view the pictures of those trousers, I cant see the bottom of the trousers, when I try to move the picture around to see the model's feet it just keeps zooming in and I cant see the whole picture

Why are websites so bad, it really puts me off. Its hard work to even look at the item and those trousers I would be interested in due to the pockets and the shaping but I cant even see a full length picture of her in them

I am a trousers person (except in the height of summer).

I normally wear jeans on weekends - mom jeans, straight leg jeans, bootcut jeans. At work I wear wide leg trousers. Trainers or boots with the jeans. Loafers or boots with the work trousers.

I also have some Alexa trousers from Lucy & Yak and harem pants from Forgotten Tribes which I wear in the summer holidays.

I have some nicer joggers but I still feel a bit slobby in them. Probably as I'm not a size 6! Think I would feel less of a mess in them if I was thinner tbh 😒. As it is I only wear them in the house or out for walks.

I hope this helps. They come to my ankle as I’m 5’2”. They are really soft, not like jeans.

Just to note, the M&S chinos are massive.
Their sienna jeans fit me perfectly but these in the same size had a 4” gap at the waist band and were hanging off my arse. I’ve ordered the next size down but I think they will be too big too tbh.

I live in wide legged cords and wide-legged chambrays at the moment, and in linen trousers in summer. If I had nicer legs I'd wear chinos and pedal pushers too. I love combats on younger women, in that 1990s revival style with a cropped or fitted casual top.

Zimbabs. All year round.

Baukjen do a great pair of 7/8 cargos. I think they are called Mirabell. Wore them to death last summer.

Wide legged cropped linen trousers. I've just bought some from New Look. I can't wait to wear them with Birkenstocks or pumps.
