Stealth boast alert ‼️

I am fatish with massive boobs ,belly, bum and around the fine china area.
Long body
Short legs
Big feet.
Oh and shortish 5ft 4

Are there any other lucky mumsnetters blessed with my goddess like proportions that can tell me what they wear to look good.

I am sort of like a female hobbit if you need a visual 😊

Thank you 🙏

You'd look amazing in anything, and you look so young! How do you do it?

If you can walk in them, sky high platform / heels, pair with high waisted long skirt or trousers (one that would covers part of the heels) would make your legs look longer. Also, seeing you've got them, show some cleavage, that would bring the eyes to the top so the long body / belly is less obvious. That's probably what I would do.

StrangeNew · 11/03/2024 17:34

Thread curation is clearly another area where you are much to be envied @Smokemeakipper42!

But fattish? Size 16 or 26? Vinted / High St or ‘I’m worth it’?

Smokemeakipper42 · 11/03/2024 18:44

Thanks for the replies so far and some great advice already.

Im a 16 to 18 and defiantly looking at the budget end for clothes.

Im trying to make light of it but it really is depressing not being able to find anything the suits me.

Jeans/trousers never come up high enough or split me in half at the crotch.
Tops sit on my boobs and don’t come down long enough to cover my lumps and bumps.

And don’t get me started on finding footwear that doesn’t make my feet look massive. 😭

I am similarly blessed @Smokemeakipper42 but I do not have your fabulous big feet. I have teeny tiny feet which is much worse. It's a miracle that I can stay upright.

Flowing for advice...

NiceNiche · 11/03/2024 19:19

Well Smokemeakipper42, you’ve obviously been back for too many breakfasts! 😉

Garlicking · 11/03/2024 19:24

Could you go for volume and colour? Volume, colour and cleavage, in your case. You can't make a shrub look like a poplar but a lovely, rounded shrub with a glorious floral display is always a welcome sight. Camila Batmanghelidjh (with or without the head wraps).

Going the other way - have you got a waist? If so, you can look good in skin-tight gear as long as it contains plenty of Lycra. Rapper aesthetic, work those curves grrl, etc!

Or (my personal preference) you can say fuck it, buy what you like in a size that fits, and just bloody wear it.

FartingAgainstThunder · 11/03/2024 19:27

I've no advice other than maybe looking at pics of pre weight loss Kelly Clarkson.
She's petite and was a busty generous size 16 a couple of years ago.
If you see photos where she looked great then maybe you can copy the outfit formula from that photo?

Again some great suggestions.

I only realised I had a long body when I sat next to a friend who is six foot tall.
We the same height sitting.

Its not normally something that is mentioned in sizing, like for example leg length.

It's the fat arse as well. It raises you up a few inches, like a built in cushion. I too sit next to tall and skinny friends!

That would definitely add an extra foot in my case.

Tunic type tops in a v or scoop neck with eye catching jewelry, necklace and earrings, great hair hair and make up. With leggings or tights and a helped boot in the same colour to add length?

Allwelcone · 11/03/2024 20:23

Helped boot = heeled boot sorry

what is the “fine china area” OP?

Clingfilm · 11/03/2024 20:27

Fine china area Grin what a fantastic turn of phrase.

Allwelcone · 11/03/2024 20:36

Sorry link fail - hope you get the idea

Goddessonahighway · 11/03/2024 20:38

Waving hello! Another long bodied babe here (never called myself a babe before but felt it was appropriate in this thread)

I always go for high waisted jeans. I like barrel/mom ones at the moment. Seem to sit well on the waist. New look and Pull and Bear jeans fit me well.

Jumpers seem OK now because they are either long so they do reach my jeans and beyond. Or the cropped ones seem OK because there's not much to tuck in anyway. Previously tops were a problem and I'd always be pulling them down.

I feel my most comfortable in dresses with flat boots. Again had a lovely geometric print black shirt dress from New Look last month. Very comfortable and easy to wear, and it got the mother in law seal of approval.

I've had some lovely second hand tops from ebay. I had a silky striped collection (m and s) shirt. Goes with jeans or black trousers (against high waisted - paperbag type). I have to accentuate my waist now more than I did so that type of trouser helps. Before perimenopause I used to suit 60s shift dresses and a line.

varyblue · 11/03/2024 20:40

Other than the big feet Op, you've described me to a T. So following with interest 😊

what is the “fine china area” OP?

It’s a polite way of referencing my chubster lady bits .

Oh Jesus, if I was born a hundred years ago I would have been picked up by the circus.
