I have a couple from this company and love them. Comfy, airy and chic. Just worth checking the material, the voile is quite see through so maybe not suitable for family breakfast!

Yes I wear long nighties to the ground with long sleeves.Only ever wear 100% cotton,never wear pyjamas.

They remind of a wonderful woman I worked with when I was in my early 20's, she was heading 70 and serving in the golf club bar purely because she loved it and the club dare not let her go because the members would have revolted, one morning she was giving out about her husband and said 'tonight I'll stick my big toe in the hem of my nightie and turn my back to him, that'll teach him', I was impressed!!!

Hell no! For me they evoke images of Victorian era and husbands lifting the nightie to force themselves on their wife.

I have one but the fabric is too thin for my nipples (I don’t think they’re that dark but very visible in that nightie). I loved the idea and it wasn’t cheap.

I love white cotton nightdresses and have quite a few from Powell Craft. The one OP has posted is even nicer (though more expensive - thanks OP!)

Scared the absolute shit out of me when we had a powercut and she wandered into my room looking for a torch dressed like that.

My dad has a proper man's nightshirt my mum made him. DH saw him in it once and has never quite got over it!

Mum has a very Victorian style one. DD saw her in that once and asked for her own so mum made her a lovely one. It's going to double as her Mary Anning costume for WBD so that's handy.

I was given one from past times one Christmas when I was teenager. Loved it. Was reading a lot of classic novels at the time and would waft about the house feeling much more interesting.

I always wanted the 1960s nighties that the ladies on Mad Men wear, but instead I typically lounge around in faded and baggy pjs 😂

I've worn sleeveless white cotton voile nighties from CottonReal for a few years, I love them, wear all year round but I'm a hot sleeper. Thinking of getting a voile housecoat dressing gown thing for when it's warmer instead of the jersey dressing gown I usually wear in spring.

I have some from Powell Craft too, all long and sleeveless. My favourite is really voluminous. It just feels gorgeous to wear.

When it was cold this winter I really wanted a proper vintagey plaid long-sleeved flannel nightie. Didn't get one, though. Maybe next winter.

Hell no! 😆 I wouldn't be seen dead in something like this. Awful things. I'm middle aged, but even when I hit 65, 75, 85, I am not wearing shit like this!
